The NFL regular season had one of the craziest finishes we’ve ever seen last night as the Raiders eliminated the Chargers and spared the Steelers in overtime, and if you need a rest after that unbelievable drama you can’t have one because it’s the College Football Playoff National Championship tonight!

On top of Georgia taking on Alabama, there’s also NBA, NHL, college basketball and FA Cup soccer action. Let’s get straight into it!

About Last Night

Pickswise team finishes NFL regular season in style
The Raiders, Steelers and 49ers grabbed the final places in the NFL playoffs after a wild first Week 18 slate that went down to the last kick of overtime in Las Vegas. There were upset wins for the Lions, Jaguars and Seahawks, but the Pickswise handicappers finished the year strongly, with a 6-1 record against the spread and 7-0 on totals in on the 1pm ET games, ending the day at 9-5 and 10-4! On top of that, we cashed same game parlays in the Washington vs Giants game (+825 odds) and the Colts vs Jaguars game (+673 odds). We also hope you enjoyed Jared Smith’s article on how to benefit from player contract incentives — if you tailed his picks you’d be up 20.5 units!

Perfect week for NBA Best Bets!
Pickswise has given 8 3-star NBA picks since last Monday and all 8 have cashed! Sunday’s Best Bets of the Warriors -8.5 and Under 213.5 in Nuggets vs Thunder completed a perfect week.

Today’s Slate

Bulldogs and Crimson Tide set for an epic battle
College football has got the championship game it deserved this season with the 13-1 Georgia Bulldogs a slight favorite against the Alabama Crimson Tide, the only team to beat them this season, at 8pm ET on ESPN. Read our picks for Georgia vs Alabama.

Champions in action on NBA TV
There are 7 games in the NBA tonight, including the Milwaukee Bucks taking on the Charlotte Hornets at 7pm ET on NBA TV. Read our picks for all of today’s basketball.

Small slate in the NHL
There are just 3 games left in the NHL today but there are some top teams on the ice, with the NY Rangers taking on the LA Kings at 10:30pm ET on ESPN+. Check out our picks for today’s games.

And there’s more…
It’s a quiet day of NCAA basketball today but we have picks for Oregon vs Oregon State. And soccer fans can watch Aston Villa vs Manchester United in the English FA Cup (2:55 pm ET, ESPN+).

Best Bet of the Day

Over 5.5 goals in Boston Bruins vs Washington Capitals
7:05 pm ET, ESPN+

Capitals netminder Ilya Samsonov has not been great lately, allowing 4 goals in each of his last 2 starts. He also has a less-than-stellar .860 save percentage in 3 career games against the Bruins. Boston’s offense is rolling, scoring 4 goals or more in 4 of their last 5 games. Washington’s offense has not been as hot, but on the year they are averaging 3.44 goals per game at home, which is the 8th-best mark in the league. Alex Ovechkin has just 1 point in his last 3 games, but he has not been held down for long this season, with 51 points (24 goals, 27 assists) in 36 games. He can spark the Washington offense in what could be a high-scoring affair. Check out our full preview of Bruins vs Capitals.

The total has gone over in 9 of the last 10 games between Georgia and Alabama.

Boost of the Day

Alabama to win both the first half and game in regulation vs Georgia (loses if OT)

There’s 1 game left in the college football season and if you think Alabama can beat Georgia in regulation for a second time after leading at the half, FanDuel Sportsbook has boosted the odds of that happening from +200 to +250.
