Atlanta Braves vs Miami Marlins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 05/18/26

The Atlanta Braves are coming off a series win against the Red Sox and they will be in Miami on Monday to open a four-game set with the Marlins. These teams have met three times already this season, the Braves have won two of the three. The Braves are the second-best offensive team in the MLB, averaging 5.3 runs per game. Even better, they are the best defensive ball clubs, allowing only 3.3 runs per game as a team. They will be in tough going up against righty Max Meyer who is 3-0 with a 3.21 ERA in 47.2 innings this season. He is coming off a shaky outing where he allowed four earned runs in 5.2 innings, including two home runs.

Considering the Braves are the best team in the majors at the moment, I will take them any day of the week in a pick ‘em. The Marlins own a below .500 record and I do not expect it to improve on Monday. I will be taking the Braves to get it done in Game 1 of this series.
