I favor the Milwaukee Brewers over the Chicago Cubs as the NL Central powerhouses collide Tuesday evening. Jacob Misiorowski is the scheduled starter for the Brewers in this game as he is set for his 10th start of the season. Through 9 outings the right-hander has posted a 2.12 ERA in 51 innings of work. He has recorded 80 strikeouts in that time, good for a 99th percentile strikeout rate this season. Walks have really been his only concern so far, but that concern is alleviated when looking at his performance so far this month. In 18.1 innings against the Yankees, Padres, and Nationals, Misiorowski has yet to allow an earned run while recording 29 strikeouts and only 4 walks issued.

Milwaukee and Chicago are both within the top 10 in wOBA against right-handed pitching this season so having Misiorowski on the bump is a major advantage for the Brewers. We could see him stretched to 5 innings, but I prefer the Brewers situation in this game and side with them at current pricing.
