Saturday’s game between the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox is not a game I am rushing to bet on. Neither team is one I have been able to get an overly strong read on so far in 2026. That being said, I do lean towards a win for the underdog Twins in this game. Taj Bradley is set to start for Minnesota on Saturday, marking his 9th start of the season. Bradley enters play with a 2.87 ERA across his first 47 innings pitched. He did have a blowup outing against his former Rays team, allowing 4 home runs and 6 earned runs in that Minnesota loss. That being said, he has allowed just 1 other home run all season long. Each of Bradley’s other 8 starts have resulted in 2 or fewer earned runs allowed. He faces a Boston lineup sitting 28th in wOBA with an 83 wRC+ against right-handed pitching this year.

The Twins offense has been league average or better against both handedness of pitchers this season. They enter Saturday with a 100 wRC+ against righties and a 107 mark against southpaw pitching. Jovani Moran is the scheduled opener for Boston on Saturday, a role he has served in twice already this season. The southpaw does present Minnesota with a chance to grab an early lead, and regardless of the bulk reliever to follow him I favor the Twins at current pricing.
