With it being July 4, there are not too many sports on today besides a few MLS games and a full slate of MLB baseball games. There still look to be a few promotions and boosts on offer from sportsbooks. But which ones should you look to capitalize on?

We’ve put together a list of all of the day’s best boosts, which happen to be from DraftKings Sportsbook and PointsBet Sportsbook, and whether they are worth playing. Let’s dive in.

Mike Yastrzemski to hit a home run (Boosted to +470), DraftKings Sportsbook

This odds boost will focus on Mike Yastrzemski from the San Francisco Giants. The Giants will finish up their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Yastrzemski is expected to feast on their pitching. He has homered in two of the three games in the series and with Caleb Smith on the mound, we expect the same tonight. Smith does own an ERA of 2.87, but his 4.50 FIP and 4.98 xFIP suggest regression is coming. Given the odds we are getting today and given how Yastrzemski has fared against Arizona pitching the last few days, this looks to be an odds boost worth a shot.

10+ runs in both Orioles vs. Angeles and Rangers vs. Mariners (Boosted to +355), DraftKings Sportsbook

The Fourth of July means fireworks and that is what we will need to cash this odds boost. Though we are hesitant to play this because we are expecting an under in the Rangers vs. Mariners game. Chris Flexen, the Mariners starter, has been excellent at home, so he should be able to slow down an inconsistent Rangers’ offense. Texas starter, Mike Foltynewicz, has pretty much been terrible all season, but he has improved some recently and we believe he can help keep this total under. This is the only game holding us back from playing this odds boost because we do expect a high-scoring game in the Orioles vs. Angels game. But because our hesitance with the Rangers and Mariners, this looks to be an odds boost best to avoid.

Aaron Judge to record a hit and Yankees to win Game 1 of the doubleheader vs. the Mets (Boosted to +105), PointsBet Sportsbook

With one of the Subway series games being rained out on Friday, we will have a doubleheader today between the Yankees and the Mets. Game 1 will start this afternoon and will see Marcus Stroman take on Gerrit Cole. Believe it or not, but since the umpires have started checking pitchers for foreign substances, Cole has really struggled. Whether this is just a coincidence or if there is something else going on, it is still concerning for Cole. Stroman, on the other hand, is more than capable of out-dueling Cole. He has an ERA of 2.44 this season and should be able to slow down a slumping Yankees offense.

Aaron Judge did have a home run in Saturday’s game, but facing a much better pitcher makes it possible that he could go hitless in the first game. Even if he does record a hit, our experts still lean to the Mets to win this game, so avoiding this odds boost looks to be the best play.
