It’s the best time of year to be a golf fan, as the U.S. Open marks the 3rd major championship in the span of 4 months. Following Justin Thomas’ triumph at the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open takes place this week. This year’s installment will be played at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts.

What an end to Tony’s week in Canada, sinking a 42-foot putt on 18 to finish solo second. It’s impossible not to root for Finau, and it’s great to see him finding some form at this stage of the year with three Top-10s coming in the last 6 weeks. He gained almost 5 strokes on the field off the tee last week, and over 6 strokes on the greens, and if he can continue that this week he’ll be dangerous.

Harman has a good track record in U.S. Opens, with a T2 in 2017 and a Top-20 last year at Torrey Pines. In fact, last year he finished Top-20 in three out of the four majors. He is an excellent scrambler and putter, and he could definitely work the ball around Brookline. He’s had three Top-10s this season, and is 12th in driving accuracy on the Tour. I’m tipping Harman to have a good week.
