A big Monday of sports is expected, which means it is time to have some fun and look for some of the best bets across all the different sports and pile them into one parlay. We’ve put together a four-pick cross-sport parlay which will take you right through the day, including action from the NHL and MLB.

Two picks are taken from each sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1256 with BetMGM — more than 12/1! Let’s break down each of these four plays. Remember to gamble responsibly.

Best NHL Pick: Boston Bruins -1.5 (+195) vs. Washington Capitals, 7:38 p.m ET

The Bruins will carry a large advantage in goal tonight as the Capitals’ starting goalie Vitek Vanecek left Game 1 due to injury in the first period on Saturday. Veteran Craig Anderson stepped in to set aside 21 of 22 shots but he did not look as strong as the box score suggests. This time around, look for the Bruins to capitalize on some of the juicy rebounds they were not able to finish on Saturday and take them to win this game comfortably.

Best MLB Pick: New York Yankees -1.5 (-165) vs. Texas Rangers, 8:05 p.m ET

To say the Yankees have a huge edge on the mound here would be a big understatement. Gerrit Cole will oppose Jordan Lyles. Cole has once again looked like arguably the best pitcher in the league, entering with a minuscule 1.37 ERA and 0.68 WHIP in eight starts. He has yet to give up more than two earned runs in 2021 and should dominate this weak Texas lineup. Lyles, meanwhile, has a 6.63 ERA and 1.61 WHIP. This one could get ugly, so we are taking the Yankees on the run line

Best NHL Pick: Nashville Predators vs. Carolina Hurricanes ML (-200), 8:08 p.m ET

The Hurricanes won the division and rested players the last two games of the season, which they lost to these same Predators. Before that, the Hurricanes had won all six of their games against Nashville. In their last eight games the Hurricanes are averaging 2.88 goals for and only 2.25 against, therefore backing them to win this game will be our play.

Best MLB Pick: Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres Over 6.5 Runs (-110), 10:10 p.m ET

Given how terrible the Colorado bullpen has been recently, the total being this low is rather surprising. The Rockies relievers were allowing runs continuously in their series against the Reds, and the Padres have already had success against this bullpen recently. San Diego plated six runs in 7.0 innings worked by the Colorado bullpen in their series last week, and Colorado’s staff ERA of 6.05 on the road is the highest in all of baseball. Because of the recent struggles of the Rockies’ bullpen, we will gladly back the over here.
