Previously known as the Wells Fargo Championship, the newly named Truist Championship will have a different feel than previous years as it changes venue for just the 3rd time in its existence due to next week’s PGA Championship. Usually there would be doubts about how focused the world’s leading players would be when playing the week before a Major, but the increased prize-money and bumper FedEx Cup ranking points on offer means this should be an entertaining tournament. The 28-year-old has finished runner-up twice this season, at The Sentry and the Arnold Palmer, while he registered a top-10 at the Players Championship, was T14 at the Masters and shared 17th place at Pebble Beach and the Genesis Invitational.
