With the regular season over, March Madness is right around the corner. It’s one of the best events in all of sports, and a godsend for bettors. The first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is especially fun to wager on, and as the tourney gets closer we’ll be bringing you everything you need to get ready. We’ll be taking a look at all of the teams one by one, and today we’re breaking down one of the top squads in the ACC, the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Record: 18-10
It was a very disappointing season for the Tar Heels, but they still ended up making the tournament unlike fellow ACC blueblood Duke. That being said, they’ve got a few glaring issues. They’re lacking a true lead scorer, with nobody averaging more than 12.2 points per game. They’re shooting just 31.7 percent from three, and turn the ball over nearly 15 times per game. They’ve got a very interesting first round matchup against Wisconsin, that I can’t wait to see play out. They could very easily win that game, but I don’t see them with any chance of getting past Baylor in the Round of 32 with all their holes.
