The 2021 MLB season kicked off over a month ago now, and the action has been jam-packed. Why not make the action even more exciting by going for a big payday on Thursday? That’s right, we’re back with another MLB mega parlay, this time a three-teamer with a payout north of 13/1, where we’re counting on the Yankees to make it five wins in a row.

We just cashed our MLB mega parlay yesterday at +1618 odds, let’s make it two days in a row on Thursday. We’re going big and bold, so let’s not waste any more time. We’re diving in, but don’t forget to check out our picks for the side and total on every MLB game, with our team of experts in red-hot form to start the season.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (+150)

New York Yankees -1.5 (+125)

Oakland Athletics -1.5 (+155)

Parlay odds: +1334

Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (+150)

Starting this mega parlay off in the nation’s capital, where I’m expecting the Phillies to win big. The Phillies have won the first two games of this series, each by at least three runs. Philly has won seven of nine overall, and with Bryce Harper back in the lineup this offense can mash. Harper homered on Tuesday, then had three hits and a double on Wednesday. The Phillies also have a big edge on the mound here with Zach Eflin going up against Patrick Corbin.

Corbin was a disappointment last year and he’s been awful in 2021, entering with a 7.36 ERA through six starts. He’s given up at least three walks in four of those outings, and surrendered three home runs to the Yankees last time out. Washington’s offense has gone ice cold, as they’ve topped three runs just once in their past nine games.

New York Yankees -1.5 (+125)

The Yankees got off to a slow start, which artificially depressed their market. Thus creating some value for the rest of us. They’ve since snapped out of it and then some, and there’s still time to hop back on. The Yankees have won four in a row, and nine of their past 11. The Rays have lost four of five, and have scored just one total run in the first two games of this series.

I see no reason to believe the Yankees won’t close out the sweep here. Rich Hill will start for Tampa, and it seems like the 41-year-old has finally run out of gas. Even after pitching well in his last two starts, the aging lefty still has an ERA of 5.17. The Rays usually rely on having an elite bullpen, but this year their relievers have been average at best. The Yankees on the other hand have the third-lowest bullpen ERA in the league at 2.71.

Oakland Athletics -1.5 (+155)

The Red Sox have cooled significantly, and their bats have gone silent. Boston has now lost three straight games, and they’re set up well for another loss on Thursday. They’ve scored just four total runs in those last three games. Oakland will start Sean Manea, who has been looking like the potential ace people always thought he could be. The left has a 3.07 ERA and 1.07 WHIP.

He’s had two shaky starts, but in his other five, he’s only given up five total runs. Oakland has won each of his past six outings. His last time out, he gave up only one run and three baserunners in 7 and 1/3 innings while striking out 10. Boston starter Garrett Richards has a 1.46 WHIP and has only gone deeper than five innings twice in seven tries, so I’m not sure why oddsmakers have this game as practically even. Oakland should roll.
