There’s a total of 9 games in the NBA tonight and we have ourselves yet another ESPN doubleheader!

Read our same game parlay for the Nets vs Hawks game below, but also check out our predictions on the side and total for the other 8 games.

Let’s get into it!

Brooklyn Nets -5.5 (alt. spread) (+210)

Kevin Durant to score 30+ points (+140)

Trae Young to score 30+ points (+140)

Parlay odds: +1643

Brooklyn Nets -5.5 (alt. spread) (+210)

Kevin Durant took the night off against Houston and the Nets lost, but now he’s recharged his batteries and is ready to roll. Brooklyn is 9-3 on the road this season, while the Hawks have cooled off a bit lately, winning just twice in their last 5 games. One of the reasons for that has been injuries and De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish, and Bogdan Bogdanovic are all out for tonight. One more encouraging factor working in the Nets’ favor is the game played between the teams earlier in the season, when they won by 9 points and covered the spread. It was their 8th win in the last 10 meetings against Atlanta.

Kevin Durant to score 30+ points (+140)

KD didn’t play against Houston purely because of load management. He had missed only 1 game this season prior to that, so he needed a night off. With him back in the lineup, the Nets are hard to beat, he dropped 32 on the Hawks earlier this season on 65% shooting from the field. In his career he is averaging 28.5 points per game against Atlanta in 24 games played. In 3 of his last 4 against them he has had 30+ points so I’m really hoping he can continue his solid scoring run. With so many wings out, the Hawks will have major issues dealing with KD’s length. They’ve allowed 110 against Minnesota and 130 against Charlotte in their last 2 games.

Trae Young to score 30+ points (+140)

After a stretch of 5 straight 30+ point games, Young’s scoring has slightly gone down over his last 3 games. But still, he scored 29, 25 and 25 in those games and most NBA player would take those numbers any day of the week. Without the likes of Bogdanovic, Reddish and Hunter I expect his scoring to go up again, simply because he will have to do much more without those guys. Plus, he is going to match up with James Haden, who isn’t really known for giving much effort on the defensive end. In his last 10 games, Young is shooting 46.4% from the field and almost 40% from three, Atlanta will need him to step up tonight if they want to stay in tonight’s game.
