The Golden State Warriors have an opportunity to move on from the Memphis Grizzlies as they head to FedEx Forum for tonight’s Game 5 holding a 3-1 lead in the series. Catch the game live on TNT from 10:00 pm ET, and I’ve prepared a same game parlay which is available below.

Things are also heating up in the Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks series, so be sure to go through our predictions on the side and total for Game 5 of that series as well.

Let’s get into the Warriors vs Grizzlies game first though!

Desmond Bane under 12.5 alternate points (+280)

Jordan Poole to score 20+ points (-113)

Parlay odds: +600

Desmond Bane under 12.5 alternate points (+280)

Bane just isn’t the same guy we saw in the first round against the Minnesota Timberwolves. His numbers are down across the board and he has been dealing with a back injury for this entire series. He had just 8 points in the previous game, going just 3-for-8 from the field and failing to record a single trip to the free-throw line, which is the 2nd time in this series that has happened. That’s a clear indicator that something is wrong with him physically and he’s just not helping the Grizzlies in any way offensively right now.

In 3 of the 4 games in the series, he has recorded single-digit points and is averaging just 9.5 per game, a significant decrease from the 23.5 he averaged in 6 games against Minnesota. You can get a really good price for him to score 12 or fewer points, which has a good chance of happening based on his recent performances.

Jordan Poole to score 20+ points (-113)

With the struggles of Klay Thompson and the mediocrity of Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole is slowly becoming the 2nd scoring option on the Warriors behind the untouchable Stephen Curry. He’s averaging 23 points per game in the series so far, and although he had just 14 in Game 4, I believe there’s a solid chance he bounces back tonight with another 20-point performance, something he has done 3 times already in this series.

If Golden State wants to close things out on the road tonight they’ll need Poole’s energy off the bench. He has been very consistent in these playoffs, scoring 20 or more points in 6 of 9 games. Out of the 16 teams that made the playoffs this season, Memphis ranks only 10th in opponent three-point percentage allowing 36.2% made shots per game, so that’s something the Warriors shooters will look to take advantage of here.
