Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. We have another Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers match-up tonight as they clash for the 3rd time this season. The last time they met I landed a +1149 same game parlay, so it makes sense to give it another go in tonight’s game!

Continue reading below to see my parlay, but also don’t forget to check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Saturday’s 6-game slate.

Let’s jump into it!

Golden State Warriors 1-10 win margin (+170)

LeBron James over 5.5 assists (-124)

Klay Thompson to score 30+ points (+1200)

Parlay odds: +7598

Golden State Warriors 1-10 win margin (+170)

The Warriors won the teams’ 2 meetings earlier this season and the games were decided by 2 and 7 points. With the way both teams have been playing lately I can see another close outcome. The Lakers have dropped 4 in a row, while Golden State has lost 3 straight. The reason why I’m going with the Warriors is they’ve covered in 5 of their last 7 visits to Crypto.com Arena, while the Lakers are just 1-7 SU in their last 8 against Western Conference opponents. The body language of the Lakers players doesn’t look encouraging if you’re a fan. They’ve been one of the most dysfunctional teams in the NBA this season and, having covered just 13 times in 34 home games, they look set to lose another one to Golden State.

LeBron James over 5.5 assists (-124)

I was deciding between backing LeBron James to score over his points total or his assists total and have opted for the assists. LBJ is only 23 assists away from becoming the first player in NBA history with 10.000+ points, 10.000+ rebounds and 10.000+ assists. With the way the Lakers season is going, that’s the only thing LeBron has to look forward to. Well, that and catching Kareem for the all-time points total, but it’s only a matter of time until he gets both records. Over his last 9 games he’s averaging 6 assists per game and in 2 meetings with the Warriors he’s averaging 6.5. If the Lakers want to stand a chance, he will have to get others involved. We can only hope the Lakers players drain a couple of shots from his assists.

Klay Thompson to score 30+ points (+1200)

You might be wondering why I am backing Klay to score 30+ and you’re absolutely right to question that, but hear me out. The last time he played the Lakers he drained 33 against them on 54.5% shooting from the field and 55.6% from 3-point land in just 30 minutes of play. This man is capable of going off against any team at any given moment. He drained 3 threes in the last 3:30 of that game against the Lakers. In his last 4 games against LA his point totals are 33, 11, 28 and 44. With both him and Steph Curry attracting so much attention from opposing defenses, one of them is bound to have a big game and at this price Klay is just too big to pass up.
