Chicago Bulls win by 11+ (+145) over Detroit Pistons

In head-to-head matchups, the Bulls have dominated the Pistons. Chicago has won the last 10 games against the Pistons and will look to make it 11 on Thursday. The Bulls snapped a 3-game losing streak with a double-digit win against the Warriors on Sunday while the Pistons continued their tough season. Detroit has lost 7 of its last 10 games and it seems an injury plague has hit the team. Bojan Bogdanovic, Hamidou Diallo, Jalen Duren and Cory Joseph are all questionable for Thursday’s matchup. Meanwhile, Chicago is expected to get DeMar DeRozan back into the lineup, which would be a huge boost.

Without DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic took over the last game against the Warriors as he led Chicago with 43 points and 13 rebounds in a performance that reminded everyone of the old Vucevic. He should be in for another big game against the Pistons, who have the 4th-worst defensive rating in the last 10 games. If Jalen Duren is unable to suit up, the Bulls will likely feed Vucevic all night long in what should be a big win for the Bulls.

Boston Celtics -5 (-108) over Golden State Warriors

It’s an NBA Finals rematch in Boston as the Warriors travel to Massachusetts to take on the Celtics. Golden State was victorious in the Finals last June, but times have changed, and the Celtics are now the powerhouse of the NBA. The Celtics own the best record in the association at 33-12 while the Warriors are struggling to get by with a 22-22 record. This will be the second Finals rematch of the season, as these teams already met in California this season, when the Warriors came away with a 123-107 win. That was just the 6th loss for Boston in 27 games, but it proved to be a reality check for the Celtics.

Boston proceeded to lose 4 of their next 5 games as they went into full freefall mode. However, they’ve won 7 in a row entering Thursday, and Golden State’s kryptonite will be on full display. Of the Warriors’ 22 losses this season, 17 of them have come on the road. They are 17-5 at home but a horrendous 5-17 on the road. Golden State has the 4th-worst net rating on the road while Boston has the 3rd-best net rating at home, so the Celtics should get their revenge on Thursday.

Philadelphia 76ers -2 (-110) over Portland Trail Blazers

The 76ers continue their West Coast road trip with a visit to the Portland Trail Blazers, a team that can be summarized in two words — Damian Lillard. Lillard is the heart and soul of the young Blazers team, and his 44 points on Tuesday weren’t enough to be competitive with Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. The Blazers rely heavily on the production from their starters since their bench is inexperienced, but that has proved to be a crucial weakness. When the opposing team has a dominating center, Jusuf Nurkic struggles and can’t be relied on for points. That leaves Lillard with Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant, who can combine for 40, but even then, Portland struggles to win.

The Blazers have won 3 of their last 10 games, while the 76ers have won 8 of their last 10, most recently scoring 120 points on one of the best defenses in the NBA. Joel Embiid should make life difficult for Nurkic, while James Harden and Tobias Harris dominate from the the wing positions. This game should be all Philadelphia from the start.
