Last night I was able to land a +827 same game parlay on the Portland Trail Blazers vs Utah Jazz game and I’m going at it again tonight. My focus is on the Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers clash, which you can watch live on TNT from 7:30 pm ET. Continue reading below to see my bet.

We also have predictions on the side and total for the 2nd game of the TNT doubleheader between the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets.

Now, let’s get into the Nets vs 76ers clash!

Philadelphia 76ers 1-10 win margin (+170)

Kevin Durant over 28.5 points (-108)

Tyrese Maxey 3+ made threes (+230)

Parlay odds: +1463

Philadelphia 76ers 1-10 win margin (+170)

It’s still early in the James Harden experiment, but the 76ers have looked amazing so far. They are 5-1 since the trade and the only loss they experienced was at Miami in a game where Harden didn’t play. In those 5 wins, they scored at least 121 points in each game and are coming off a solid 15-point home win over Chicago. Brooklyn just got Kevin Durant back from injury, but they are just 1-4 SU over their last 5 games and against the Sixers they’ve lost 6 of 7 on the road at Wells Fargo Center. Brooklyn leads the regular-season series 2-1 but all 3 games have been decided by less than 10 points, so I think it’s safe to say we can expect another highly competitive game with a close outcome. Back the Sixers to get the job done at home.

Kevin Durant over 28.5 points (-108)

In 3 games against the Sixers this season, KD is averaging 32 points per game on 51.5% shooting from the field, 35.3% from three while making almost 91% of his free-throw attempts. He has looked terrific since returning from injury, scoring over 30 in 2 of the 3 games. Against Charlotte, he attempted just 13 shots and had only 14 points, but his team didn’t need him as Kyrie Irving was on fire and dropped 50. They’ll need him tonight if they want to be competitive here, as the Nets will only go as far as KD takes them. Having Irving at his side also helps here as he’ll draw so much attention on offense. All in all, I’m expecting KD to score at least 30 here, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he went for 40 either. He is that good.

Tyrese Maxey 3+ made threes (+230)

Brooklyn’s defending of the perimeter has been trending downwards lately. Over their last 3 games, they are allowing teams to make 37.4% of their shots from three-point land, which is an increase of 3.4% compared to their season average. Maxey’s performances have been great over the past 10 games – he’s averaging 21.1 points per game during that stretch while shooting 51.1% from downtown. Against the Nets this season he played twice and is averaging 20 points per game on 46.2% shooting from deep. With the Nets mainly focusing on stopping Embiid and Harden, Maxey has gone under the radar for most of the defenses he has faced lately and I expect that to be the case tonight as well. He’s drained 3 threes in 4 of his 5 games.
