Detroit Pistons ML (+430)

To the surprise of many, Detroit was able to end an 11-game losing streak last night by beating he injury-decimated Indiana Pacers by 20 points at home. They are looking to end another long losing streak tonight as they hit the road and travel to Washington for a date with the Wizards. The Pistons have lost 7 in a row head-to-head, and their last 15 road games in Washington. These 2 teams actually met a week ago, and since winning that game Washington has proceeded to lose 3 games in a row which has it 11th in the Eastern Conference standings. The Wiz have just 1 win in their last 5 home games and they have covered the spread only once in their last 6 overall. The first 2 weeks of March have been full of surprises, just last night we had the Houston Rockets beating the Boston Celtics. So why not try our luck by backing the Pistons against the unreliable Wizards?

Milwaukee Bucks -1.5 over Sacramento Kings (-110)

Both the Bucks and Suns will be playing on 2nd nights of a back to back here, but I’m more in favor of trusting the road team here. Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the line-up with a banger scoring 46 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in last night’s win over a really tough Sacramento Kings team. The Bucks shot the ball extremely well at 58.1% from the field and also drained 15 threes. It’s hard to find a flaw with this team at the moment; they are strolling through teams, winning 18 of their last 20 outings. On the other hand, the Suns are on a mini 2-game losing streak following last night’s loss against the Warriors. The defense just wasn’t there from the beginning as they allowed 75 points in the first 24 minutes and were down by as many as 25 points. Kevin Durant is out and they traded half of their team to get him, so it’s no surprise they are struggling right now. The Bucks are 6-1 SU in the last 7 head-to-head and have also covered in 5 of the last 7 meetings. With 10 wins in their last 11 road games overall, I think they will be just fine.

New York Knicks -2 over Portland Trail Blazers (-110)

To wrap things up I have the New York Knicks, who are also concluding a 4-game west coast road trip with a game at Moda Center against the Blazers. Portland did win the first meeting between the 2 teams at MSG in overtime, so it will be up to the Knicks to respond. They were able to end a 3-game losing streak with an impressive showing at crypto.com against the Lakers, with both Julius Randle and RJ Barrett scoring 30+ points. Jalen Brunson remains out, they’re hoping to get him back in time for the Nuggets game in 3 days. Portland just ended a 6-game road trip with just 2 wins, against Detroit and Orlando. They have dropped 3 games in a row, all 3 vs teams that are likely to be in the playoffs. Injuries have taken a toll on this roster and tonight they have both Jerami Grant and Damian Lillard listed as game-time decisions. Without Dame this team is going nowhere, but even if he plays I still have the road consistent Knicks coming out on top. New York is 10-3 SU/ATS in its last 13 games and 6-3 ATS in the last 9 meetings with Portland.
