Strange things are happening with the Baltimore Orioles this week. The Orioles snapped a 19-game losing streak with a 10-6 win over the Angels on Wednesday and followed that with a 13-1 win last night! Go figure. Much more predictable was the Dodgers’ 4-0 success over the Padres, which gave the +280 World Series favorites their 12th win in their last 13 games. Titans’ preparations hit by COVID cases
Tennessee’s buildup to the new NFL season continues to be affected by a COVID outbreak. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has become the seventh Titan to be placed on the COVID reserve list this week, and head coach Mike Vrabel also tested positive. The Titans are set to host Chicago in their final preseason game on Saturday.
In an unusual trade, the Ravens dealt this year’s fifth-round draft pick–CB Shaun Wade–to the Patriots.
