Good morning Pickswise Nation and welcome to Wise n’ Shine, your one-stop shop for everything you need to know to bet better today!

The Pickswise handicappers stayed hot in Friday’s MLB playoff games and today we have a super Saturday of action including 2 more playoff contests, a huge slate of college football action, plus a world heavyweight title fight, UFC and soccer. Let’s get straight into it!

About Last Night

MLB handicappers 12-3-1 in playoffs!
After 4 days of the MLB playoffs, the Pickswise team is 6-2 on sides and 6-1-1 on totals for an overall record of 12-3-1 on elimination baseball. We hope you’re loving that as much as we are. The Astros, Brewers, Red Sox and Giants won Friday’s games, with the Astros ML being our best bet of he day, while John Hyslop’s top player prop of over 5.5 Logan Webb strikeouts also cashed. The Dodgers losing 4-0 to the Giants has seen the Astros replace them as the World Series favorite with FanDuel Sportsbook at +300, with the Dodgers +350 and the Giants +380. DraftKings Sportsbook still favors the Dodgers (+340) ahead of the Astros (+360).

CFB team goes 2-0 on Friday picks
Our college football handicappers took their record to 4-0 on Week 6 with comfortable wins on Cincinnati -29 (won 52-3) and Arizona State -12 (won 28-10).

Today’s Slate

NLDS takes center stage
The NLDS is in the spotlight today with the Brewers and Braves getting it on again (TBS, 5:07pm ET), before the Dodgers try to put things right against the Giants (TBS, 9:07pm ET). Check out our previews of both games here.

Huge day of College Football
Week 6 of the NCAAF season brings some great matchups from noon ET right through to UCLA vs Arizona at 10:30pm ET. Read our picks for all the big Saturday college football matchups here.

And much more!
We have the small matter of a world heavyweight title fight in Las Vegas tonight (ESPN+ & Fox Sports PPV, approx. 11pm ET) as Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder get it on for the third time. Read our big-fight preview here. We also have UFC picks and MLS soccer picks, so don’t forget to check those out too!

Best Bet of the Day

Alabama -18 vs Texas A&M
8pm ET, CBS

Last week, Alabama sent the message to the rest of the college football world that they are on a different level than almost everyone else. The Crimson Tide are dominant on offense, averaging 6.7 yards per play, and showed that their defense can stand tall by significantly slowing down the Ole Miss offense. Texas A&M has struggled at times this year and there is zero margin for error when playing Alabama. Read our full preview for today’s game.
