Tuesday football was a nice change and while the NHL has headed into its holiday break earlier than planned, we still have NBA, college football, and college basketball to enjoy on this winter Wednesday. Let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

Tuesday Night Football sweep for Pickswise handicappers
Pro football on a Tuesday seemed to suit our NFL handicappers, as we went 4-0 on the sides and totals as the Eagles beat the Football Team and the Rams overcame the Seahawks on Monday. The under in Philadelphia was 3-star pick, too! We hope you got your wagers locked in earlier in the week, though, as the closing odds in the Philadelphia game would have seen the over cashing and maybe a push on the spread as the Eagles line got all the way up to -10. They won 27-17.

Plenty of points in bowl games
Both of Tuesday’s college football bowl games went way over the total as Wyoming beat Kent State 52-38 before San Diego State beat No. 24 UTSA 38-24.

No revenge for Lakers as Suns win again
The Los Angeles Lakers never came close to getting revenge for the Phoenix Suns eliminating them from last season’s playoffs, losing 108-90. Wayne Ellington getting under 9.5 points in that game was part of a 2-0 night for PropBetGuy’s NBA plays.

Alabama upset by Davidson
A notable upset on Tuesday’s big NCAAB slate was No. 10 Alabama losing 79-78 to Davidson, a Pickswise pick at +10.5.

Best Bet of the Day

NCAAB: Over 143.5 points in Lipscomb Bisons vs LSU Tigers
8:00 pm ET, SEC

This should be a high-possession game, as both squads rank inside the top 70 in KenPom’s adjusted tempo. There’s also a lot to like from a matchup perspective that favors the over. Lipscomb is turning the ball over at an alarming rate. Even more concerning is that those turnovers are turning into quick points for their opponents and LSU ranks 7th in generating potential quick points off steals. Florida State scored 97 points against Lipscomb, so if LSU can replicate that the over is off to a great start. Only 6 teams allow a higher 3-point attempt rate to their opponents than LSU, and the Bisons can shoot threes well — ranking 38th in 3-point percentage. Go with the over. Read our full game preview for Lipscomb vs LSU.

In the news

While the COVID-19 situations of the Browns, Football Team, and Rams caused a huge amount of uncertainty for betters in Week 15, Kansas City is in the spotlight now. It has 13 players on the COVID reserve list, including WR Tyreek Hill and TE Travis Kelce. Another notable addition in the AFC was WR Cole Beasley of the Bills.

Stat of the Day

The Missouri Tigers have a 3-9 record against the spread this season heading into the Armed Forces Bowl.

Boost of the Day

Cleveland Cavaliers to win vs Boston Celtics

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won 6 in a row but they are shorthanded tonight as they visit the Celtics. DraftKings Sportsbook has boosted the odds of the Cavs winning from +195 to +220 for bettors who think they can overcome their latest obstacle.
