Super Bowl 61 Odds, Predictions & Best Bets

Super Bowl 60 presented the most predictable wager of last season. Seattle decimated New England in a contest that never felt competitive and many, including yours truly, cashed on that result. I believe they are well-positioned to make another run. New England will face multiple challenges on and off the field to rediscover their spark from last season, and the AFC is bound to be far more competitive in 2026. Taking a shot on any futures bet at this point of the year is always an extreme risk, since Super Bowl 61 is still 6 months and at least 19 battles away for the 2 rosters participating. We will examine a few cases where the risk could make sense, and point out where, in most cases, it absolutely does not. Let's breakdown the latest NFL odds for Super Bowl 61, along with our best bets for who will win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Super Bowl 61 odds

Odds courtesy of bet365 and available at time of publishing.

  • LA Rams +550
  • Buffalo Bills +1000
  • Baltimore Ravens +1000
  • Seattle Seahawks +1100
  • Kansas City Chiefs +1600
  • LA Chargers +1600
  • New England Patriots +1600: New England adding AJ Brown is a big deal. Quarterback Drake Maye is a gifted long-ball passer and their defense is well-equipped to perform at a high-level again. The issue is that Mike Vrabel’s offseason controversy will make it all the more difficult for the Super Bowl 60 losers to find the same mojo; historically, only 15.4% have returned to the big dance after failing to get the job done the season before. Avoid this future at all costs.
  • Philadelphia Eagles +1800
  • San Francisco 49ers +1800
  • Detroit Lions +1800: According to Warren Sharp, the Lions have the NFL’s easiest schedule. They also have a ton of deep playoff experience at this point and probably should have made the Super Bowl at least once over the past 3 seasons. Their offense is as talented as ever, Aidan Hutchinson is healthy and poised to return to prime form, and they clearly have a unified, championship culture. Look at their counterparts at the same price, and Detroit has a much stronger chance of playing deep into January.
  • Houston Texans +1800
  • Denver Broncos +2000
  • Green Bay Packers +2000
  • Cincinnati Bengals +2000
  • Dallas Cowboys +2200: Dallas hasn’t won a title since 1996 and hasn’t come close to sniffing even an NFC Championship game with Dak Prescott under center. This is a crazy line, considering those truths, although I do believe their defense won’t be a complete embarrassment this season.
  • Chicago Bears +2500
  • Jacksonville Jaguars +2800
  • Minnesota Vikings +4500
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers +5000
  • Indianapolis Colts +5500
  • Washington Commanders +5500
  • Pittsburgh Steelers +6500: It may seem absurd that a football team that’s had 19 straight winning seasons would have odds this low to win it all. You probably know what we’re going to say next. Pittsburgh has seen 3 head coaches since 1969, and Mike Tomlin is already a certified Hall of Famer, bringing home 2 more Lombardi trophies during his tenure. Mike McCarthy once won a Super Bowl with the same quarterback many moons ago, but this is still a drastic change at leadership. That quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, is also 42.
  • New York Giants +7000
  • Carolina Panthers +7500
  • New Orleans Saints +8000
  • Atlanta Falcons +10000
  • Las Vegas Raiders +12500
  • Tennessee Titans +12500
  • Cleveland Browns +20000
  • New York Jets +20000
  • Miami Dolphins +25000
  • Arizona Cardinals +30000

Super Bowl LXI contenders

LA Rams (+550)

Considering that the Rams have the 2025 MVP (Matthew Stafford) and the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year on their team (Myles Garrett), along with a Super Bowl-winning coach and QB tandem and a defense that’s only gaining more experience together, it makes sense that they’re the heavy favorite entering September. LA is a very dangerous program, but this is not a price worth taking at this juncture.

Buffalo Bills (+1000)

As talented as Josh Allen is and although the Bills should always be considered a top Super Bowl contender, the fact that they own the second-highest odds to win the Super Bowl is a market hiccup. Joe Brady is a great playcaller, but this is the first time Allen and company have been without Sean McDermott (he started coaching the Bills in 2017). Not to mention, 5 of the top-7 teams, according to the market’s Super Bowl odds, are in the AFC, so Buffalo has plenty of challenges ahead.

Baltimore Ravens (+1000)

Baltimore has a new coach, thus they enter a new era, but they still don’t have a big-bodied wide receiver to save Lamar Jackson’s errant throws deep in the playoffs. That’s not great, since playoff defenses are all good and force Baltimore to become a one-trick pony (aka, run the ball). Their defense has also underperformed since Mike Macdonald left for Seattle. We’re not buying them this season.

Seattle Seahawks (+1100)

Last season’s champs will miss Kenneth Walker III. Other than that, the Seahawks roster is still special, particularly on defense, and Sam Darnold proved he can win at the highest level. Taking a shot on a repeat title win isn’t worth it this early at this price, but I project Seattle as the 2nd-best team in the NFL entering Week 1. And if anyone thought they should still be considered #1, it would be hard to argue against. Mike Macdonald created a winning culture and now they have confidence and experience to back it up.

Kansas City Chiefs (+1600)

Kansas City looked like the next big dynasty after their win in Super Bowl 59. Last season left a lot to be desired, particularly on offense, where they were 20th or worse in yards, points, and 3rd-down conversions. KC reloaded in some significant ways (Kenneth Walker III, last year’s Super Bowl MVP, for example), but they have a lot to prove.

Super Bowl 61 best bet: Denver Broncos to win Super Bowl LXI (+2000)

Odds available at bet365 and DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The odds on Denver to win it all this season? Disrespectful.

The Broncos very likely would have participated in Super Bowl 60 if Bo Nix didn’t get injured in the Divisional Round of last year’s playoffs. Instead, backup Jarrett Stidham and one of the league’s best defenses tried but ultimately couldn’t hold off the Patriots in a snowy AFC Title game, although New England barely scraped by (10-7). Denver completely outclassed New England in the first half, holding their offense to just 67 total yards, but the Broncos’ offense just couldn’t capitalize.

Denver’s defense is as loaded as ever, and for our money they are the most talented group at all 3 levels in the AFC. They led the NFL in sack-rate last season (10.43% of plays) and held teams to just 18.5 points per game. Their focus this offseason was continuity, as they re-signed multiple stars and ensured the same elite group could return. On offense was their biggest move, picking up first-class wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who eclipsed 1,000 yards in his first 3 NFL seasons.

The team and front office is clearly buying into Sean Payton’s vibe, granting the Super Bowl-winning coach a 5-year extension. Other players took pay cuts to solidify their depth chart, and although Nix is coming off an injury, he remains a perfect fit in Payton’s offense. My projections have Denver as a top-3 contender and the best overall team in the AFC, so this value is fantastic.

Super Bowl 61 prediction: Cincinnati Bengals to win Super Bowl LXI (+2000)

Odds available at bet365, FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

This could be a special year for Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Simply saying coach Zac Taylor and the front office “invested in defense” would be a grand understatement; they completely transformed it. Most notably, they acquired DT Dexter Lawrence, one of the most feared interior linemen in football, although it’s the overall depth they added that’s really impressive. They signed veteran DT Jonathan Allen, added another edge rusher in Boye Mafe, who just won a Super Bowl with Seattle, and greatly elevated the talent in their secondary, signing safety Bryan Cook, safety Kyle Dugger and CB Ja'Sir Taylor. Cincinnati also utilized the draft to add more layers to their front-seven, including pass rusher Cashius Howell in the 2nd round.

For Burrow’s ongoing protection, they re-signed left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. on a 2-year extension through 2028, and it goes without saying that they’re stacked in offensive talent.

Most importantly, without the same protection and with a very average defense, Burrow led the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance in his first full season as their starting quarterback (2021). On paper, this is the best roster, certainly the best defense, he’s ever had surrounding him. We know the former LSU star is special, but Burrow’s biggest issue has been his health, which at this point is a real ongoing pattern (7 notable injuries in 6 seasons). Last year it was turf-toe in Week 2, curtailing what looked like another promising campaign. He returned and led his team to a 5-3 record, but the postseason was out of reach.

The AFC North is going through a transition. For the first time in two decades, Pittsburgh doesn’t have Mike Tomlin. The Ravens are hoping to initiate a new era but first-time coach Jesse Minter has lofty expectations and a ton of pressure on him already; success usually takes time. The Browns are, well, the Browns. Cincinnati has a real shot to do some damage, and if Burrow makes it to the playoffs there’s no quarterback we trust more.
