NFL Week 6 Best Bets: Top Picks for Sunday's Games
The 2026 NFL season moves on to Week 6, and four of our top NFL handicappers have locked in their NFL best bets for what should be another wild Sunday of action. Thursday Night Football saw the Broncos edge the Seahawks in overtime, setting the reigning Super Bowl champs back to a 3-3 record. The NFL standings are very congested right now, with tons of teams hoping to go on a run to establish themselves as playoffs contenders.
For NFL Week 6, we've got a solid 12-game slate to get hyped up for, kicking off at 9:30 AM ET in London with Texans vs Jaguars. With that in mind, let's break down our NFL best bets, while you can find out our expert NFL picks for every game this week and throughout the entire season.
NFL Week 6 Best Bet: Indianapolis Colts -7 over Tennessee Titans (-102)
Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing.
There are three 0-5 teams in the NFL heading into Week 6, which includes the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee’s offense is the main reason for its winless start, averaging a league-low 11.6 points per game. The Titans put together their worst offensive performance in last Sunday’s 26-3 home defeat to the previously 0-4 Texans, posting 187 yards of offense and turning the ball over twice.
The Colts saw their modest two-game winning streak end in a 34-22 setback to the Steelers, highlighted by a pair of 50+ yard TDs from Pittsburgh RB Jaylen Warren. Indianapolis was held to one touchdown for the second time in three games, as kicker Spencer Shrader has kicked 12 field goals in this span.
Indianapolis has swept the Titans in each of the last three seasons, including a pair of early-season blowouts in 2025. Indianapolis torched Tennessee 41-20 in Nashville, and that was followed by a 38-14 home rout as 14.5-point favorites.
The Colts rank 30th in EPA/Pass, but face a Tennessee defense that sits 27th in EPA/Pass. Last season, Colts RB Jonathan Taylor rushed for 255 yards and five TDs against the Titans. Despite the slow 2-3 start, the Colts can move to 2-0 inside the AFC South with a victory after edging the Texans in Week 3. The Titans own a 3-6 against-the-spread road record since covering the 2025 season opener at Denver.

NFL Week 6 Best Bet: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Over 39.5 (-105)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The Steelers leave the cool autumn air of western Pennsylvania for the warmth of central Florida this weekend. It isn't just the weather heating up, either. The Buccaneers return home riding the momentum of a 24-16 upset victory over the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football, a result that produced enough points to clear this Sunday's total of 39.5. Coincidentally, both Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay played in three games that finished over that number and two that stayed below it this season. Maybe that's not a coincidence at all. If recent trends are any indication, these two teams could have no trouble working together to push this game total into the 40s and perhaps well beyond.
The Steelers' last three games have all produced totals well into the 50s, and conventional wisdom would suggest a step back could be coming. Even so, we don't need another shootout in that range for the over to cash. A total of 40 points would be enough, allowing both trends to hold true. Tampa Bay's last four games have featured 42 points or fewer, which helps explain why oddsmakers have set this number so low. That said, I believe there are several factors being overlooked. For starters, the Buccaneers' rookie quarterback should be brimming with confidence, and the entire team returns home with momentum after its impressive victory in Dallas.
Jalon Daniels and the Buccaneers hung 24 points on the Cowboys in Dallas, while the Steelers are coming off a 34-point performance of their own against the Colts, making it difficult to ignore the offensive potential on both sidelines. While this matchup may appear to have the ingredients of a defensive battle and features a rookie quarterback newly at the helm, I believe there's a better chance we're in for an offensive showcase. I can easily envision a final score landing somewhere in the 27-24 range, or even pushing higher, which is exactly why I love the over.

NFL Week 6 Best Bet: Carolina Panthers ML over Philadelphia Eagles (-184)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking to bounce back from a brutal London loss when they host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia took the lead with eight seconds left only to give up a big kickoff return followed by a 57-yard field goal by Cam Little to give Jacksonville a 19-17 victory. Even though head coach Nick Sirianni's team is back at home, it is coming off a somewhat difficult week of travel. Carolina, on the other hand, enjoyed its bye in Week 5. That's an advantage that should not be underestimated, which is part of the reason why my Panthers vs Eagles pick is the visitors on the money line.
Most importantly, news broke on Thursday that Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts will not play due to a blood clot in his leg. He is out indefinitely. With Hurts sidelined, Tanner McKee is taking the reins of the offense under center. In six NFL appearances, the 26-year-old out of Stanford has completed 61.4 percent of his passes for 597 yards with five touchdowns and one interception. McKee seems to be a serviceable QB, but he certainly isn't Hurts. And that's not where the Eagles' infirmary report ends, either. Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks and two offensive linemen are questionable. Even if the home team was at full strength, Carolina would have a good chance to win this game. Given the Eagles' woes, the Panthers should win it.

NFL Week 6 Best Bet: Green Bay Packers ML over Dallas Cowboys (-116)
Odds available at bet365 and FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Let’s start out with arguably the most important bit of information – Micah Parsons will not be playing in this contest. After allegedly “circling” this game, the All-Pro is still in recovery after his ACL tear last season.
Of course, that doesn’t mean he won’t have an impact. The apparent rift between Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons is well-known at this point, likely one of the key elements to why he was traded last season. It’s also not significant enough to suggest one team will be particularly more motivated than the other because of it.
Without Parsons the Packers’ defense has presented a mixed bag. Statistically they rank highly in some categories, like top five in opponent yards per play (4.7) and top 10 in opponent yards per pass (6.4). They’re also one of the worst defenses in opponent third-down conversion (44.29%, 25th) and red-zone touchdown success (81.25%, 31st).
On the bright side, last Sunday Jordan Love and the Packers’ offense looked in peak form. Against a weak Chicago defense (that secondary looked lost), Christian Watson and Matthew Golden dominated, gaining 143 and 123 yards, respectively. Love threw for 368 yards on 10.8 yards per pass, reminiscent of his prolific showings in 2023 (Thanksgiving at Detroit comes to mind).
They won ‘t be too challenged by the Cowboys. Dallas’ defense has capitulated plenty and they have the data points to prove it – 25th in opponent yards and 31st in opponent points per play. As usual, they’re also capable of producing on any defense, although last week’s collapse against the Bucs, who beat them straight up as 9.5-point underdogs, left much to be desired even offensively (just 10 points in the first half).
Dallas hopes to get back star linebacker Demarvion Overshown, who hasn’t suited up since their Week 1 matchup against the Giants. Joey Porter Jr. is practicing, too, which is a good sign. The problem is we can’t shed the memory of how sharp the Packers looked in Week 5. The chemistry between Love and his two big wide receivers was startling to watch. The Cowboys don’t have the personnel to adequately defend that all game, while Green Bay has a noteworthy home-field advantage and a formidable pass defense through five weeks. And we can’t say we’re thrilled by Dallas’ coaching this season. Even without Parsons, I like the Pack to pull away.
