The first of five, yes five Primetime games for the Buccaneers this season, the addition of someone named Tom Brady may have something to do with that. Brady has looked better with each week in his new home, capped by a come from behind win against the Los Angeles Chargers in week 4 where Brady threw for 369 yards and 5 touchdowns, but also his fourth pick-six in his last six games. The Bears opened their season 3-0 despite having a quarterback crisis, with Nick Foles taking over the reins in week 4 the Bears managed a lowly 11 points and just 269 yards of total offense. The Bears will need to bounce back to keep tabs with the high-flying Packers in the NFC North and the Bucs will want to keep the New Orleans Saints at arm’s length too but will have to do so with an expectingly depleted offense after suffering more injuries in week 4.
The Cowboys were a sleeper pick for many this year but a 1-3 start has dampened enthusiasm around them despite Dak Prescott putting up crazy stat lines through four weeks. Dak is setting all sorts of records to start the year, with three 450+ passing yard games in succession, but that has come from necessity with the Cowboys’ troubles on the other side of the ball. The Giants have been one of the worst teams in the league through four weeks, with an 0-4 record and a woeful offense scoring an average of just under 12 points per game, even the Dallas defense will be confident of making some stops here. No team has conceded more points in four weeks than Dallas’ 146 but fortunately for them, the rest of the NFC East is also in disarray. The Eagles top the division with a 1-2-1 record so a win here for either side, despite their early troubles and could get their season back on track.
