Somebodies ‘0’ has got to go – unless we see the second tie of the season after the Eagles and Bengals couldn’t be separated in week 3.
The Steelers and the Titans both enter their week 4 clash with a perfect 3-0 record, the only matchup between unbeaten sides this week. The Steelers, fresh off the back of a 28-21 victory over the Houston Texans, have now beaten three teams who currently have 0-3 records – with scalps over the New York Giants and Denver Broncos prior. The Titans, some would argue will be the first real test for Big Ben & Co. who have a marginally better resume through three weeks, with at least one win against a team, not 0-3 this season – But that was against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both teams have looked steady, but yet to be tested so this week should give us clues as to what to expect from both sides this season.
Seeing the Patriots as a big underdog is not something we’ve seen in a very long time, but here in week 4, they are just that as they travel to the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs. The Patriots have been solid, without being extraordinary in their first three games in the Cam Newton-era, leaning heavily on a ground attack to find success. Stopping the run hasn’t been a strength of the Chiefs who have surrendered the sixth-most rushing yards with 459 through three weeks. In spite of their defensive woes, the Chiefs’ star-studded offense, led by Patrick Mahomes, bounced back last week and will be tough to halt. The Chiefs fresh from their comfortable triumph over another AFC rival in the Baltimore Ravens will look to continue their strong start in search of back-to-back championships against a team they’ll look to emulate with a dynasty of their own.
