Caleb Martin over 18.5 points + rebounds (-105)

For each of the games this series I have backed Caleb Martin to hit the over on this line and he has delivered. It has risen from 13.5 in Game 1 to 18.5 in Game 5. Considering he has had at least a combined 19 points and rebounds in every game so far, it’s still a terrific value pick. His ability to guard 1 through 4 should see him manage at least 30 minutes of playing time once more. With him shooting an incredibly efficient 59.3% from the field in this series, I expect him to make the most of the opportunities he is given. His rebounding has been steady, managing between 3 to 5 per game against the Celtics, and he showed earlier in the playoffs that he can pull down 8 or more, which could really make this leg comfortable.

Kevin Love over 4.5 points (-120)

While Kevin Love may not be the best player to match up defensively against the Celtics, the Heat lack the depth to completely bench the veteran. It has resulted in him seeing double-digit minutes in 4 of the 5 games so far. They have utilised him when he is playing, with the forward managing a field-goal attempt for every 2 minutes of playing time in 3 straight games of this series. With Love making 55.6% of his 3-point attempts in the conference finals, it should set him up perfectly to hit the over on this line. He has a great knack for rebounding and should be a threat on the offensive glass when on the floor, giving him an avenue to pick up second-chance points. He has hit at least 5 points in 4 of the 5 games and I expect him to continue having success tonight.

Al Horford over 2.5 assists (-102)

Al Horford has long been one of the more adept passing centers in the NBA and that was on full display in Games 4 and 5 of this series. He managed to record totals of 4 and 5 assists in those games, which both ended in Celtics wins. Look for him to continue playing a larger playmaking role as a result. His ability to stretch the floor can pull Bam Adebayo away from the paint and that should leave space for the Celtics’ cutters to dive into the paint, providing Horford with the opportunity to find them. He has averaged over 3 assists per game in 8 straight seasons and it would not be a surprise to see him exceed those numbers tonight based on his recent form.
