Our TD scorer picks were red hot in Week 7 as we went 8-3 on the week including a +250 win with Jordan Addison of the Vikings on MNF so let’s try to cash another on Monday Night Football as the Raiders visit the Lions in the final game of Week 8.

Both teams have a point to prove, with the Raiders reportedly having had an all-in player and coach team meeting to thrash things out after their embarrassing loss to the Bears last week, while the Lions were also humbled in Week 7, suffering a beatdown on the road in Baltimore. With two teams who can’t afford to lose this game too, something has to give.

Be sure to also check out our full Raiders vs Lions predictions, but now let’s take a look at my favorite anytime touchdown scorer picks for Monday Night Football.

Davante Adams, WR, Raiders (+170 at DraftKings)

Among the many rumors circling around the Raiders at the moment is one that star wideout Davante Adams could be traded before the approaching deadline, and it would be no surprise if returning QB Jimmy Garoppolo shows him some love in terms of this week’s target distribution. The majority of the touchdowns the Raiders have scored this season have come from their wide receivers, and that is also the position group that has scored the most TDs against the Lions.

Jakobi Meyers leads Adams 5-3 in TDs this season, but whether the Raiders want to put Adams in the shop window this week or just feed him the ball to keep him happy, he should have a good chance to reach the end zone on Monday.

Target Prop Holliday’s best Raiders vs Lions prop bets

Sam LaPorta, TE, Lions (+200 at FanDuel)

The Lions rookie is just +100 odds to score a touchdown against the Raiders with BetMGM, which highlights the value we’re getting with FanDuel’s +200 price. LaPorta is second on his team in targets this season, behind only Amon-Ra St. Brown, and he has already reached the end zone 3 times in his brief NFL career.

Interestingly enough for this bet, all those scores came in his last 2 games at Ford Field, with his first Lions touchdown coming against the Falcons before he reached the end zone twice there against the Panthers. He heads home again on Monday after claiming 10 receptions for 88 yards in back-to-back road games, and the former Iowa standout could send the Lions fans home happy again.
