Last week I went 2-6 with my anytime TD scorers for -0.02U, essentially breaking even. However, we were a Tommy Tremble TD away from having ourselves a successful Sunday in the TD department (he was called down at the 1-yard line). I have listed 6 TD scorers who I feel have great value and a really good opportunity to score this week.

Feel free to parlay or round robin these, along with simply picking the ones you agree with. I’ve broken them down into Favorites and Long Shots depending what kind of action you’re looking for. All of these receive 0.25 units from me and tracking is in my bio. Best of luck and make sure you’re following me on Twitter @PropHolliday!

Anytime TD scorer best bets for Week 2 – the favorites

Travis Etienne (Jaguars, +210)

Travis Etienne is my favorite TD scorer play for Week 2. It was evident that Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence favors Etienne in the passing game as he had 3 red-zone passing targets in Week 1, two inside the 15 and one inside the 3. Etienne can get his first career TD this week and at +210 odds, I’m all over it.

Brandon Aiyuk (49ers, +290)

Brandon Aiyuk caught all 3 of his targets Week 1, but didn’t the find end zone. A lot of talk coming out of camp was how Trey Lance’s favorite target was Aiyuk, but it would have been tough to see in a Week 1 monsoon against Chicago. With RB Eli Mitchell out, I expect 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan to get creative and find a way to get the ball in the hands of Aiyuk through the air or on the ground. At nearly 3/1, I’m betting against the Seahawks on a short week and coming down from an electric Week 1 victory.

Anytime TD scorer best bets for Week 2 – the long shots

Evan Engram (Jaguars, +330)

After watching OJ Howard go off for 2 TDs in Week 1 with a limited grasp of the playbook, I feel confident in saying there’s something wrong in the middle of the Colts defense. Evan Engram had 4 catches on 4 targets last week. His issue has never been about getting open, it’s been about holding onto the ball. If he can do that this Sunday, we should find paydirt at over 3/1.

Ben Skowronek (Rams, +340)

Van Jefferson is sidelined again for Week 2 and that means we will see more Ben Skowronek for the Rams. He played 45 snaps in Week 1 and 55.6% came from the slot. AJ Terrell, the Falcons’ best CB, does not play in the slot and that likely means a big day for Cooper Kupp, but his TD odds are far from enticing, as you might expect. Give me Skowronek to nab his first career TD this Sunday against the Falcons.

Josh Reynolds (Lions, +360)

I’m expecting Detroit vs Washington to be the highest-scoring game of the week. After seeing what D’Andre Swift did in Week 1, the rest of the league is on notice so it’s up to Dan Campbell to get more creative. Reynolds played only 3 fewer snaps than Amon-Ra St. Brown and his aDOT is 14.7 yards. Reynolds has a good rapport with QB Jared Goff from their days in LA together and is the deep-ball target for this offense. Reynolds has caught 2 TDs in 7 games with Detroit and the Commanders ranked 26th in Week 1 coverage according to PFF. Let’s sprinkle on Reynolds at almost 4/1, playing 80% of the snaps.
