Team USA is averaging 83.5 points per game over their two games, so I am not super confident they will be able to reach 90 here. After a rather rocky group stage, Team USA is in a great position to advance to the Gold Medal match. They will be playing Canada, but have the firepower to score multiple times here and win. Both teams won their quarterfinals match in penalties, and even though Canada did not allow a goal to Brazil, Team USA looks to have found their offense. Their defense has been the side of the ball that has stood out, allowing just 1 goal throughout the entire tournament. She is averaging 9.5 assists through the two games, making it likely she has at least 7 against France on Sunday morning. This was a goal in the game against a rather weak New Zealand side that Team USA beat 6-1. Canada’s defending as been solid as well, so I expect Morgan to struggle to find the back of the net.
