We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Saturday night including action from the UFC, MLB and a nice slate of college football games.

Two picks are taken from College Football with 1 each from the UFC and MLB. A winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +1412 with DraftKings; that’s more than 14/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.

UFC Pick: Derek Brunson ML (+140) vs Darren Till, 6pm ET

Derek Brunson comes into this fight 16-6 in the UFC, most recently beating Kevin Holland by unanimous decision in March. He has now won 4 fights in a row. Brunson is averaging 3.46 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 47%. He is absorbing 2.72 strikes and has a striking defense of 53%. Brunson is also a great grappler, averaging 3.11 takedowns per every 15 minutes. His takedown accuracy is 33%, but his takedown defense is 94%.

Brunson comes into this fight in better form and his power looks to be legit. Because he also is a great grappler, that balance looks to be enough to propel him to a 5th straight win.

MLB: Detroit Tigers +1.5 (-125) vs Cincinnati Reds, 7:10pm ET

When healthy, Matthew Boyd has been a reliable starter for the Tigers this season. He holds a respectable 3.50 ERA through 14 starts on the year. He will be making his second start since returning from the IL. Boyd will face a Cincinnati offense that has had their struggles against lefties this season. Before Thursday’s games, the Reds’ team batting average dropped from .257 against righties to .231 against lefties. In addition, their OPS drops from .784 to .694. The Reds have a powerful offense, but they seem to be neutralized when going up against a left-handed starter. Backing the Reds at this price does not seem too appealing, so consider backing the Tigers +1.5, where there is decent value.

NCAAF pick: Northern Illinois Huskies +19 (-110) vs Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 7:30pm ET

Northern Illinois (NIU) will look to rebound on a 2020 season that saw them finish without a win. Michigan State transfer QB, Rocky Lombardi, will look to improve a pass attack that mustered only 241 ypg in 2020. Luckily, he will have senior Tyrice Richie (597 receiving yards and 4 TDs in 2020) to lead a receiving corps that is bringing back their top 3 receivers.

Northern Illinois have lost by an average of 12.8 ppg in their last 5 defeats and 15.9 ppg in their last 10 defeats. They tend to keep games within 2 TDs and Georgia Tech hasn’t exactly jumped out to fast starts as they have trailed at the half in 17 of their last 20 games. Additionally, they were 2-0 when scoring more than 27 points in 2020 but a dismal 1-7 when they didn’t hit that mark. There are too many questions on the defense to feel comfortable backing this GT team. Expect all of the transfers at NIU to make this a game and to keep it within two scores.

NCAAF pick: Georgia Bulldogs +3 (-110) vs Clemson Tigers, 7:30pm ET

Georgia and Clemson take the field in a potential College Football Playoff preview that will have a lasting impact on the rest of the season. Georgia starting QB JT Daniels is an early Heisman favorite and proved last year how efficiently he can run this offense, albeit in a small sample size. But taking his stats from those games, he would have had the 4th-highest QBR in the country over the entire season. This is the missing piece Georgia has been waiting for, especially in a game such as this, now offense has become so important. Look for Georgia to find success through the air and put pressure on Clemson early.

Clemson is looking to replace a lot of pieces on the offensive side and a strong Georgia front 7 can take advantage early while their offense settles in. Clemson is the favorite, but Georgia can cover with the 3 points in a game that could very well come down to a field goal.
