ThriveFantasy NFL player props - Best Picks & Plays for Week 3: Will Stefon Diggs dominate again?

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs (14) catches a pass for a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans during the second half at Highmark Stadium.

We got a bit unlucky last week, and only went 1-for-3 in recommended plays, but we’re feeling good about the picks this week. While these picks only compromise 30 percent of the picks you have to make on Thrive, this will give you a solid floor of points to work with, and the lines for these players feel too low. If you are looking for some NFL picks for Week 3 and you are playing over at ThriveFantasy, you have most certainly come to the right place.

D’Andre Swift, Courtland Sutton, and Stefon Diggs are guys you should look at targeting this week on Thrive. It’s time to #PropUp over at ThriveFantasy, but be sure to check out our NFL best bets and our NFL Prop Bets pages before locking in any NFL player props.

ThriveFantasy NFL Player Props Week 3

D’Andre Swift over 67.5 rushing + receiving yards

We’ll need to monitor the practice reports a bit throughout the week, but if Swift plays even slightly more than he did last week, sign us up for the over. He was banged up last week, and on 31 total snaps, he got five carries (11.2 YPC) and five targets (2 rec. for 31 yards, 1 TD). Running backs have had their way against Minnesota this season, and even in a limited role, Swift should surpass this number. Any improvement in his health heading into Week 3 only makes us more confident in Swift posting at least 68 total yards.

Courtland Sutton over 48.5 receiving yards

Listen, you aren’t getting a ton of points by taking the over here, but some points are better than no points, so take them and run. Sutton has at least 72 yards in each game this season, and Jerry Jeudy is dealing with a shoulder/AC joint issue, putting his availability for this contest into question. Even if Jeudy plays, we’re still taking the over. San Francisco has faced Justin Fields in a monsoon and Geno Smith, so despite Russell Wilson’s struggles this year, the Wilson-to-Sutton connection is the best QB-WR duo they have faced in 2022. Sutton can win at all levels of the field, and Wilson has relied on Sutton this year, targeting him on nearly 25 percent of his pass attempts.

Stefon Diggs over 74.5 receiving yards

Well, Diggs is awesome, Josh Allen is awesome, and this Buffalo offense is operating like a well-oiled machine. Diggs has a 33.3 percent target share this season, and he’s averaging a cool 135 yards per game. If Miami can move the ball against Buffalo, this could be another shootout the Dolphins find themselves in. Miami ranks in the bottom-five in DVOA against the pass through two weeks of the season, and you can throw it on this Miami defense. In four games against the Dolphins over the last two years, he’s averaging six grabs for 82.3 yards per game. Take the over here, because the Allen-to-Diggs connection is one of the best in the entire NFL.
