The Yankees and Astros faced off for a doubleheader to return from the all-star break with a bang, and it was Houston who hit the ground running as they landed wins in both games. Hefty slate of MLB action
After only 6 games yesterday, it’s back to the MLB we know and love with a great 14-game slate for us to sink our teeth into. The Cardinals and Reds get things started at 6:40 pm ET, and we have two games on Apple TV with Cubs vs Phillies at 7:05 pm ET and Guardians vs White Sox at 8:10 pm ET. There may not be any games today, but the Premier Lacrosse League returns tomorrow following its own all-star break. MLB: Tampa Bay Rays ML over Kansas City Royals
8:10 pm ET

The Rays open up the second half of their season with a road series in Kansas City, as they look to carry over some momentum from the first half after winning 6 of their final 7 games heading into the All-Star break. This young Rays offense is still without Wander Franco and more recently losing Harold Ramirez, which should help Royals starter Brad Keller in this game. Nonetheless, the Rays still remain the more complete team with a much more reliable lineup and bullpen, and should be able to grab the win on the road. Check out our full preview for Rays vs Royals.
