Judge delivers walkoff win for Yankees
You only need one run to win a game and Aaron Judge blasted his third walkoff home run of the season to give the Yankees a 1-0 win over the Royals yesterday. There were 14 more runs scored as the Phillies beat the Pirates 8-7, while the Dodgers crushed the Rockies 13-0. And there was finally good news for the Giants, who ended a 7-game losing run by beating the Cubs 4-2.

This week’s PGA Tour event started yesterday, but the LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster gets going today and Diane Knox Balas has the best bets for the third LIV event. This weekend’s MLS slate starts tonight and we have previewed the Seattle Sounders’ visit to LAFC.

MLB: Atlanta Braves -1.5 over Arizona Diamondbacks

After a tough divisional series loss in Philadelphia, the Braves return home to face a much weaker opponent in the Diamondbacks. This game will feature struggling veteran Madison Bumgarner of Arizona against rookie Kyle Wright of Atlanta, but in this instance, the rookie is the much more reliable option. Wright has been spectacular for the Braves with a 12-4 record and 2.95 ERA. It also helps that he’s backed by one of the league’s most reliable bullpens. Take Atlanta on the run line.
