About Last Night

Another day, another Pickswise parlay cashes
Our NHL handicappers are really starting to build up steam with hockey playoffs on the horizon, and that continued last night with our standard parlay cashing at +456 odds! On top of that, our props expert Chad Wetzel nailed Devon Toews to score for the Avalanche at +410! In the picks department, we have also gone 16-7 on totals in the past 3 days. Don’t miss our picks for tonight’s mammoth 11-game slate.

Mocs madness at the buzzer
March Madness may not technically start for another week, but the craziness got underway early as Chattanooga beat Furman 64-63 in the Southern Conference Tournament final courtesy of an outrageous buzzer-beater to send the Mocs into orbit. Elsewhere, Gonzaga advanced to the WCC final, where they will play Saint Mary’s, while Delaware upset Towson to set up a date with UNCW in the CAA final.

LeBron-less Lakers lose again
Things keep going from bad to worse for the Lakers, who last night were without LeBron James and lost to the Spurs 117-110. Los Angeles just about remains in the play-in tournament as things stand, but things are not looking good for the Lakers right now.

Today’s Slate

ACC Tournament gets started

Georgia Tech also locks horns with Louisville. Meanwhile, we have a number of finals to get excited for, including in the WEC and CAA. Get our picks for today’s huge NCAAB matchups.

Big night on the ice
There is a hefty 11-game slate in the NHL on Tuesday, and as mentioned above our handicappers are lighting it up right now. Tonight’s standout game looks to be the Panthers taking on the Penguins. Read our predictions for today’s NHL games.

Best Bet of the Day

Cleveland Cavaliers -4.5 over Indiana Pacers
7:00 pm ET

The Cavaliers snapped their 3-game losing streak on Sunday night with a win over the Toronto Raptors. Cleveland lost all-star center Jarrett Allen to a broken finger in that game but a matchup with the Pacers might be a good opportunity to fit in some new pieces and see what works. Indiana has won just two games since the start of February and they have one of the league’s worst defenses. The same can’t be said about the Cavaliers, who thrive on the defensive end of the floor where they give up the fewest points to opponents per game. Take the Cavs as small road favorites. Read our full game preview for Cavaliers vs Pacers.

Stat of the Day
