The 2022 Fiesta Bowl takes place on Saturday, January 1, when the Oklahoma State Cowboys go up against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The teams were chosen by the College Football Playoff selection committee and oddsmakers currently have the Fighting Irish as -2.5 favorites.

Notre Dame is 11-1, having lost only to Cincinnati. Oklahoma State was also 11-1 heading into the Big 12 Championship (it lost at Iowa State 24-21 on October 23), but the Cowboys fell to Baylor 21-16 in a game that came down to their final play from the Bears’ 1-yard line with 24 seconds left.
