Pascal Siakam to record 10+ rebounds (+290)
The last time that the Raptors faced off against the Lakers, Siakam was able to put in a 10-rebound performance. And while the hosts tonight will have a very different looking starting 5, the Raptors star should still have a great showing on the glass. The Lakers have been playing at the fastest pace in the league over the last 10 games while ranking just 25th in true shooting percentage. That is a combination of factors that should give Siakam plenty of misses to try and chase down.
Matchup-wise, the Raptors are likely to deploy Jakob Poeltl against Anthony Davis, putting more size on the Lakers superstar. It would leave Siakam against Jarred Vanderbilt. The Lakers forward is not much of a threat from the perimeter. He currently makes 31.3% of his 3-pointers on 1.1 attempts per game. That should help keep the battle in the paint between the pair, improving Siakam’s rebounding position. With the pair having a very similar type of build, look for the Raptors star to have success winning those rebounding battles tonight.
