It’s Tuesday and that means we have ourselves an NBA on TNT doubleheader. It begins with the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks squaring off at 7:30 pm ET, and I’ve gone in-depth and prepared a same game parlay which is available below.

Don’t forget to also check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Tuesday’s 5-game slate, including part 2 of the doubleheader between the Utah Jazz and LA Clippers.

Let’s get into it!

Dallas Mavericks 1-10 win margin (+220)

Luka Doncic to record 10+ assists (+176)

Dorian Finney-Smith over 5.5 rebounds (+118)

Parlay odds: +1595

Dallas Mavericks 1-10 win margin (+220)

Although not having LeBron James sounds like a big deal for the Lakers, they haven’t been all that horrible when he doesn’t play. They are 6-13 SU in 19 games, but only 4 of those 13 losses were by more than 10 points, so they’ve shown they can hang with teams. Recently against Philadelphia, they lost by just 5 points at home. Over the last 5 seasons, the Mavericks won this meeting by more than 10 points only twice. I still see them winning at home here as they’ve been really good recently, but it’s not easy blowing out teams in the NBA nowadays. The Lakers are playing for their play-in lives every single night, so expect them to give their full effort here and keep this one close.

Luka Doncic to record 10+ assists (+176)

We all know what Luka can do when it comes to scoring the ball, but his team thrives the most when he turns into a Magic Johnson type of player and gets everyone involved. We’ve seen flashes of that all season long and over his last 5 games, he’s recorded 10 assists twice. He’s done it once against the Lakers already this season, in the 1st meeting played in Dallas where he had 18 points and 13 assists. Russell Westbrook should be no match against him on defense, and Doncic should overpower him in every way possible. The Lakers are also giving up the 27th-most assists per game to their opponents this season. Teams are getting an average of 25.9 assists a night against them and over their last 3 games that’s gone up to 26.7. Expect Luka to serve everyone tonight.

Dorian Finney-Smith over 5.5 rebounds (+118)

Not having to chase around LeBron James all night should be beneficial for Finney-Smith as it means he will save a ton of energy. The Lakers have been horrible on the boards all season long, ranking just 27th and allowing opponents to get 55 of them per game. Although Finney-Smith is averaging only 4.9 rebounds per game this season, that number goes up significantly in games against the Lakers. In both games against Los Angeles, he had 9 boards while playing 41 minutes per game. If tonight’s game is a high-scoring one, and I believe it could well be if the Lakers have only Russell Westbrook available, then Finney-Smith should be in for another big rebounding game.
