We’ve got a great day of baseball from the early hours of the afternoon to well after midnight, and it all starts with a massive matchup between the Angels and Braves at 12:20 pm ET. Other notable contests include Rays vs. Yankees at 7:05 pm ET, Orioles vs. Blue Jays at 7:07 pm ET and an important NL West tilt between the Diamondbacks and Giants at 9:45 pm ET. The Orioles will go for the series win against the Blue Jays with Grayson Rodriguez on the mound. Normally, I would want to side with the team facing the rookie. However, Rodriguez has been much better since being brought up from the Minors. Rodriguez was fabulous in Triple-A and earned another shot in the big league rotation, and he’s made the most of it. The rookie has a 3.18 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 3 starts since rejoining the O’s. That includes his most recent start against the Yankees which featured him going 6.1 innings and not allowing a run.
