Tuesday brings a great 9-game slate in the NHL, and we have you covered from all angles. That includes the player prop market in which we went 2-0 yesterday. With some significant mismatches on the board, you may not want to pay such steep prices for teams to win games. Instead, we can target individual skaters to perform well. Our favorite spots for tonight involve games with heavy favorites, so we’ve provided more valuable ways to have action in those games. They’re each in the first time slot of games, so let’s get right into it.

Jesper Bratt over 0.5 assists (+120)
There aren’t many teams struggling as much as the Montreal Canadiens recently, and we’re going to capitalize on that tonight. They’re facing a very strong Devils team in New Jersey after allowing 11 goals across their last 2 games. One of the primary reasons for the Devils’ great season is the MVP-caliber season of Jack Hughes. Having him back on the ice provides an elite goalscorer for Bratt to link up with.
Along with Nico Hischier, we’re expecting Bratt to notch another assist in his already strong season. Of his 54 points through 56 games, 32 have been assists. He’s also enjoyed facing the Canadiens throughout his career. Bratt has a great streak of 5 straight games with an assist against Montreal. There’s no reason to expect that to end with the Canadiens allowing the 4th-most goals on the road this season. We’re also anticipating a multi-point game for Hughes, but we’ll roll with Bratt to come through for us like he did earlier this season.

Nikita Kucherov over 0.5 goals (+140)
Picking on the Anaheim Ducks has been one of the best ways to cash player props this season. They look absolutely lost in the defensive zone and the stats back that up. They’ve allowed the most goals per game overall this season, the most on the road and the most since the start of 2023. Similarly, they’ve been the worst in terms of shots allowed per game in those time frames and it isn’t even close.
That should allow Kucherov to continue his success against Anaheim. He’s scored a goal in each of his last 2 games against the Ducks and in 5 of his last 6 meetings against them. Kucherov only needed 1 shot to find the net earlier this season, but also had 4 shots on goal in each of the 2 games prior. No matter how he gets it done, the former MVP is having another stellar season with 79 points (3rd in the NHL). Consider taking his teammate Brayden Point to also notch a goal, but we’re sticking with the consistency of Kucherov for our official play.
