The 5-4 New Orleans Saints are battling an injury crisis as they head north to face the 4-6 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and a close game should be in the cards.

This NFC South vs NFC East matchup (1:00 pm ET on FOX) arrives with the Saints coming off two narrow losses, while the Eagles scored a morale-boosting win over the Broncos their last time out. We have prepared a 3-leg same game parlay for the contest, which pays +804 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s take a look

Jalen Hurts over 211.5 passing yards (-114)

DeVonta Smith anytime touchdown scorer (+175)

Adam Trautman over 25.5 receiving yards (-114)

Parlay odds: +804

Jalen Hurts over 211.5 passing yards (-114)

The Eagles are a one-dimensional, run-first team going up against the league’s top run defense. Offense can sometimes win out when a strength meets a strength like this, but if the Eagles can’t get their usual ground game going against a Saints defense allowing just 72.9 rushing yards per game, they will have to show more faith in quarterback Jalen Hurts. That’s not something they have looked keen to do. Hurts has passed for 2,159 yards with 13 TD passes and 5 interceptions in his 10 starts this year, and when the Eagles thrashed the Lions 44-6 he completed just 9 passes (from 14 attempts) for 103 yards. He has passed for fewer than 200 yards in 5 of his last 6 games. That’s why this line is so low! However, with rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith looking a real star, there are plays to be made if Philly head coach Nick Sirianni loosens his tight rein on Hurts. They may have to change the nature of their attack to have success against the Saints, who are so strong against the run.

DeVonta Smith anytime touchdown scorer (+175)

Do you remember that time just before the 2021 NFL Draft, when Smith was too skinny to play in the NFL? You don’t hear it so much these days. The Alabama product has been a rare bright spot for the Eagles this year, and any second-half improvement by the team will surely have him at its heart. Smith leads Philadelphia with 603 receiving yards despite the team preferring to pass only when it really has to. Well, the Birds will really have to on Sunday and Smith could showcase his talent again. He has scored only 4 TDs so far in his NFL career, but 3 of them have come in the last 2 games against the Chargers and Broncos, in which he had 9 catches for 182 yards. Take him to add another score against a Saints defense that is more susceptible to the pass than the run.

Over 25.5 Adam Trautman receiving yards (-114)

Let’s complete the parlay with an over on a Saints player, tight end Adam Trautman. The second-year player is an emerging talent in New Orleans. It may be a coincidence, but he has become far more involved in the offense in the 2 games Trevor Siemian has started. After getting 19 targets in his first 6 games this season, he has had 13 in the last 2 games — snagging 9 balls for game totals of 47 and 32 yards. With Alvin Kamara now looking unlikely to return and the Saints potentially missing both of their starting offensive tackles, Siemian could be looking for a quick outlet pass to a reliable tight end he knows he can trust.
