Buccaneers vs Cowboys Anytime TD Scorers: Best Picks and Predictions

Buccaneers-Cowboys on Thursday Night Football looked much better back in Week 1. Since then, the Buccaneers have dropped all four games and have lost their franchise quarterback, Baker Mayfield, who injured his thumb and may be out longer than expected. On the other side, the Cowboys are 2-2 with an offense that is on a historic pace.

Bucs vs Cowboys anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Chris Godwin (+500)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Jalon Daniels, an undrafted rookie, got his first start of the season week versus the Packers in a loss - A game he faired better than most thought. He completed 19 of 27 passes, with veteran Chris Godwin reeling in 6 of 7 targets. Daniels relied on Godwin throughout the game, and in a likely trailing game script versus the high-powered offense of the Cowboys, Daniels will lean on Godwin, and hopefully in the redzone, to help us cash in on a +500 touchdown play.

Bucs vs Cowboys anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Bucky Irving (+190)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

I'm fading the Cowboys offense, from a touchdown standpoint, strictly because of the prices of their core skill players to score - Javonte Williams, CeeDee Lamb, and George Pickens are all priced at lower than +130. Even with the Buccaneers having one of the lowest implied team totals of Week 5, backing two of the Bucs' core players, Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin, against a putrid Cowboys defense is one I'll live with on Thursday Night.
