Week 5 of the NFL season kicks off with Thursday Night Football between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys at Jerry World in Dallas. The Bucs are one of the last remaining winless teams at 0-4, while the Cowboys are 2-2 after defeating Houston this past weekend.

I kicked off Week 4 by cashing my +750 Steelers vs Browns Same Game Parlay on Thursday Night Football and then hit again at +650 on Monday Night Football with my Falcons vs Saints Same Game Parlay. Let's keep the momentum going with my SGP for this week's TNF primetime festivities, which get underway at 8:15 PM ET on Amazon Prime Video. Also be sure to check out our expert NFL picks on the side and total for this matchup and every game throughout the entire 2026 NFL season.

Cowboys -8.5 (-115)

Javonte Williams to record 20+ rushing attempts (+160)

Jalon Daniels Over 181.5 passing yards (-111)

Buccaneers vs Cowboys Same Game Parlay odds: +700

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as Dallas running back seeing a ton of volume obviously works well with a Cowboys victory. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Tampa Bay quarterback Jalon Daniels to have a productive night. But even if he does, there is no reason why the home team can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the three legs.

Bucs vs Cowboys Same Game Parlay Pick: Cowboys -8.5 over Buccaneers (-115)

The Bucs stink – especially without Baker Mayfield, who remains sidelined by a dislocated thumb. Although they have been competitive in every single game, they have not exactly been facing great teams. The only two opponents currently with winning records that they have faced are ones with subpar offenses in Minnesota and Cleveland. As such, Tampa Bay has come close to keeping up. Well, it’s safe to say that the visitors are finally going up against a team with a dynamic offense.

Dallas ranks second in the NFL in scoring at 30.5 points per game and is averaging 34.0 ppg over its last three outings. Can a team quarterbacked by an undrafted rookie compete – on the road, no less – with the likes of Javonte Williams, Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens? Even though the Cowboys’ defense is nothing special, probably not!

Bucs vs Cowboys SGP Pick: Javonte Williams to Record 20+ Rushing Attempts (+160)

As the spread indicates, Dallas will likely be leading this game from start to finish. If that’s the case, Prescott should be handing the ball off to Williams early and often – especially in the second half as they presumably try to run the clock. The former North Carolina standout has rushed 19 times in each of the last two contests, which resulted in a 34-31 loss to Baltimore and a 34-30 victory over Houston. It should also be noted that RB2 Tyler Goodson has been given only nine carries through four weeks, so Williams, for all intents and purposes, has the backfield all to himself.

Bucs vs Cowboys SGP Pick: Jalon Daniels Over 181.5 Passing Yards (-111)

Is Daniels suddenly going to set the world on fire in his second NFL start? No, but he could exceed his yardage quota simply by default. If the Kansas product is playing from behind the entire night, he will have no choice but to attempt a ton of passes. The Cowboys’ defense is mediocre at best, too, so this is a favorable matchup for Daniels. Dallas is #24 league-wide against the pass (239.3 yards per game) after finishing dead last in that department a season ago.

It should also be noted that Daniels was decent at times last week against Green Bay. He completed 66.7 percent of his passes, led a 12-play, 84-yard drive that got the Bucs within three points early in the fourth quarter, and also rushed for 55 yards. With a start under his belt and facing a generous defense, Daniels can be productive on Thursday Night Football.
