The MLB props team is having a historic month of September. We’ve won 20 of our last 25 plays and I’ll look to continue that today with two of my best bets on this early Wednesday slate.

Seattle Mariners RHP George Kirby headlines our top MLB player prop bet of the day, but be sure to also check out our MLB predictions for every matchup on the docket.

George Kirby (Mariners) over 17.5 outs (-140)

Available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

This line is moving like crazy. When I started my write-up, DraftKings was offering this at -135. It’s now -155 there. Remember always to line-shop and have access to multiple books. Head to BetMGM for the best line now.

George Kirby has a great matchup today. Not only because it’s the Oakland Athletics, but the ballpark factors too. Due to the sizeable foul ground in Oakland, foul balls have the potential to become outs more than usual. Kirby should excel in this category as he ranks in the top 30 in flyball outs this season.

After an uncanny span when the Athletics were hitting well, they’ve dipped back down to the bottom of the league in most categories. In September against RHP they rank in the bottom 5 in batting average, on-base percentage, and atop the league in K%. Not to mention that they aren’t finding the base pads via a walk. Kirby is the best in that department, as he ranks in the 100th percentile in BB%

Kirby hasn’t been as elite as we’d like, but he still surpassed this prop in back-to-back starts against the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers, who have much stronger offenses than the Athletics. Before those starts, Kirby had struggled in New York and Chicago and failed to pitch 6 innings, but on the year, he has gone over this line in 20 of 28 starts, including a 7-inning performance in Oakland.

Juan Soto (Padres) Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI (-120)

Available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

If you were on this prop yesterday, I send you my thoughts and prayers. Juan Soto cashed his total bases prop at 1.5, but failed to surpass this line even though he hit 3 balls at over 80 mph . He was also caught stealing after what looked like a wild pitch at first, which led to Soto being thrown out at 3rd base. That said, Soto has a great chance to cash this line for the 8th time in 9 games today.

He will face off against RHP Chase Anderson in sunny San Diego. They have matched up multiple times, with Soto having a .250 batting average against the 10-year veteran. But what Soto has done against RHP this month makes this an auto-play. He’s hitting .354 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI — both ranked in the top 5 during that span. He’ll have the pleasure of hitting in between a talented offense that has been a disappointment this season, but I trust that can get to Anderson and his 5.07 xERA.

This prop has the best odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook, and if you sign up right now, then you can bet $5 and secure $200 in bonus bets IMMEDIATELY! Head over to DraftKings now by clicking this link.
