Wise n' Shine: NFL Monday Night Football picks, World Cup and NBA best bets for Monday, November 28

Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another week of sports. We have a loaded Monday slate with Monday Night Football, NBA, NHL, World Cup and college basketball action, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better.

About Last Night

Eagles earn their 10th win
The Eagles became the first team to 10 wins with their 40-33 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. It was a successful end to the day for our Pickswise NFL team as we cashed the Eagles -6.5 spread pick, our +764 Same Game Parlay, and both of our touchdown scorer best bets as Miles Sanders and Aaron Jones found the end zone. We also ended 17-7 on NFL picks on Sunday, so the Pickswise NFL handicappers once again helped you bet better.

Quadruple overtime??
It was pandemonium in Alabama as the #1 ranked UNC Tar Heels lost to the #18 ranked Crimson Tide 103-101 in quadruple overtime. That has been the game of the year so far in college basketball, but with more games on today and through to March, we can expect some more overtime thrillers in the future.

Warriors, Celtics highlight big wins
The Golden State Warriors scored 47 points in the first quarter and never looked back as they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 137-114. The Boston Celtics put up 130 points on the Washington Wizards en route to their 16th win, 2 more than the next-best record in the NBA.

Today’s Slate

Steelers vs Colts on Monday Night Football
Week 12 of the NFL season comes to an end tonight as the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts. The Colts have been given the nod as slight favorites with a -2.5 spread, so be sure to read our Steelers vs Colts predictions to determine which side you should be on.

World Cup continues on Monday
The World Cup will get off to another early start as Cameroon faces Serbia to start the day, and Portugal vs Uruguay concludes the action. Read all of our soccer picks.

NBA starts the week strong
It’s a 10-game slate in the NBA tonight, but it’s not filled with the most eye-catching matchups. One game that will be interesting to see is the Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings, but as always, be sure to read all of today’s NBA picks.

Average day on the ice
We only have 6 games on the NHL slate for today, but several excellent matchups. Check out today’s NHL picks.

College basketball on Monday
As usual, there are dozens of college basketball games on Monday, with only 2 top-25 teams in action. One matchup that sticks out the most is Troy vs Arkansas. Read today’s NCAAB predictions.

Best Bet of the Day

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5 over Indianapolis Colts
8:15 pm ET, ESPN

In a battle between 2 low-scoring, defensive-minded defenses, we are taking the points with Pittsburgh. It’s just hard to trust the Colts against a defense that can’t get pressure. In three games with TJ Watt in the lineup, the Steelers’ defense has produced a -0.09 EPA per play, equivalent to the 3rd-best defense in the NFL. Now they get the worst offense in the NFL in the Colts. The Colts have faced five top-12 EPA defenses, and they’ve averaged 14.8 ppg in those games and have not cleared 17 in any of those games. This is also typically a great spot getting Mike Tomlin as an underdog, since Tomlin is 46-28-3 ATS as an underdog in his career. Check out our full Steelers vs Colts predictions.
