Wise n' Shine: NFL Monday Night Football picks and World Cup predictions for Monday, December 5

Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another magnificent Monday of sports. There is a ton of action in sports today, including Monday Night Football plus action in the NBA, NHL, World Cup and college basketball, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better.

About Last Night

Cowboys crush Colts
The Eagles might hold the best record in football at 11-1, but the Cowboys are doing their best to put pressure on their NFC East rivals after Dallas demolished the Colts 54-19 on Sunday Night Football, which saw them score 33 points in the 4th quarter! Elsewhere, the Vikings held on to beat the Jets, the Bengals took down the Chiefs, and the 49ers beat the Dolphins.

Back-to-back NBA parlay wins
We hit a +649 NBA parlay on Saturday and decided that wasn’t good enough. So, we cashed our +701 NBA mega parlay last night for back-to-back days with a parlay win in the NBA. Our 3 legs of the mega parlay were the Suns -9.5, who won 133-95, Celtics -3, who won 103-92, and Lakers money line, who won 130-119. We also won our best bet of Lakers ML (+120), which means we’ve won 6 of our last 7 NBA best bets!

NHL mega parlay cashes at +931 odds
As if one mega parlay win wasn’t good enough, we also cashed our NHL parlay at +931 odds! The Jets, Sabres and Islanders each covered the puck line to help us hit the jackpot and make it a profitable Sunday. We also went 4-1 on our picks across the 5-game slate.

Best Bet of the Day

NFL: New Orleans Saints +4 (-110) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
8:15 pm ET, ESPN

I like the Saints here at any number over a field goal. They are coming off a shutout loss but that result is totally misleading, as the Saints moved the ball very well on a great 49ers defense but couldn’t punch it in multiple times. Two of their drives ended in turnovers, one on a 4th-down miss and they missed a field goal, as well. I know everyone will discuss Andy Dalton’s record in primetime (6-20 SU and 9-17 ATS), but Brady is not any better. In fact, he is just 2-14 ATS in his last 16 primetime games. Check out our full Saints vs Buccaneers predictions.
