Dallas forgot to show up for Game 1 and now the Mavericks find themselves in a tough position heading into tonight’s Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors. Tip-off is at 9:00 pm ET on TNT, and I’ve prepared a same game parlay to make things even more interesting.

Let’s take a look at tonight’s parlay:

Dallas Mavericks 1-10 win margin (+300)

Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+180)

Parlay odds: +697

Dallas Mavericks 1-10 win margin (+300)

Game 1 wasn’t good for the Mavs as they finished with an offensive rating of just 90.6, which is way down on the 112.7 they are posting through 14 games in the playoffs. Luka Doncic scoring just 20 points on 33% shooting and turning the ball over 7 times will surely not happen again in this series. I think the Mavs will come out with a lot more energy in Game 2, as the series opener was a quick turnaround for them after the Phoenix series. History tells us that the Mavs have a chance tonight, as they’ve covered the spread in 11 of the last 15 against Golden State and have won 9 of the last 13 meetings.

Luka Doncic to score 35+ points (+180)

The 20 points Doncic scored in the series opener was the lowest total of these playoffs for Luka and tonight he should bounce back in a big way. He scored 35 points 3 times in the series against the Suns, and we can all agree that the Suns and Warriors are comparable defensively. Doncic had some big games against the Dubs during the regular season, averaging 31.5 points per game in 4 meetings while also shooting 47% from the field and a respectable 38% from three. He already has a 34-point game at Chase Center under his belt from the regular season, which gives me hope he can come up big for his team tonight.

Let’s face it, the Mavs will need that to happen as everything they do comes through him on offense. Andrew Wiggins got a lot of praise for the work he did in Game 1 on him, but I think that was more of a bad night for Luka than Wiggins slowing him down. Doncic is just one of those talents that’s unstoppable on offense, so let’s hope he can showcase that tonight on the road and prevent the Mavs from going down 2-0 in the series.
