The defending champions Warriors are looking to win their second game in a row on the road, but standing in their way is Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans. Catch the game live from 8:00 pm ET on NBA TV. I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay to spice things up.

Read our NBA predictions for picks on the side and total for tonight’s 8-game slate. Now let’s dive into the Warriors vs Pelicans matchup.

Golden State Warriors +4.5 (-106)

Zion Williamson over 6.5 rebounds (-140)

C.J. McCollum over 2.5 made threes (+126)

Parlay odds: +697

Golden State Warriors +4.5 (-106)

Last night the defending NBA champions dominated the Rockets on the road and finally got their first win away from home, 127-120. Klay Thompson turned back the clock and scored 41 points, including 10 threes. As a team the Warriors knocked down 24 threes, Steph Curry got his usual 33 points and 15 assists. In head-to-head matchups they are 11-5 SU against the Pels in the last 16 games. One of those losses happened earlier in the season so the defending champs will want to get revenge here. New Orleans has covered just once in 5 games against Pacific Division teams, they are also only 3-8 SU in their last 11 games played on a Monday. You can get really good value on the Warriors winning tonight, but let’s back them to cover for added security.

Zion Williamson over 6.5 rebounds (-140)

One of the things that has plagued the Warriors this season has been the lack of size on the interior. As a result they are just 24th in opponent rebounds per game, giving up an average of 54.6 boards a night. On the road that goes up to 55.1, only 4 teams are worse than that in the NBA. This is the ideal opportunity for Zion to have a big rebounding game. He has faced the Warriors 4 times in his young career and is averaging 7.5 rebounds per game, clearing this line 3 times. Following James Wiseman’s departure to the G-League, he has one less big body to worry about as he cleans the glass tonight. In a fast-paced game like I’m expecting tonight’s to be, I think he can overpower both Kevon Looney and Draymond Green, finishing with at least 7 rebounds.

Monday’s NBA mega parlay is available at +882 odds!

C.J. McCollum over 2.5 made threes (+126)

C.J. McCollum had 20 points in the first meeting of the season against the Warriors, hitting 3 of his 6 attempts from downtown. He has been in solid scoring form, knocking down 7, 3 and 4 threes over his last 3 outings. Overall his 3-point shooting is up almost 6% this month compared to October. As good as Golden State is at making threes, they are also just as bad when it comes to defending the 3-point line. They rank only 13th in the NBA with opponents making 35.5% of shots from the perimeter against them, in the last 3 games that’s up to 37.8%. The Rockets just made 15 threes against the Warriors last night, with tonight’s game being a second night of a back-to-back they might struggle a bit more than usual defending the perimeter. In 15 of 26 career games against Golden State he has scored at least 3 threes, fingers crossed he can do so tonight as well.
