NFL MNF Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers same game parlay at (+919 odds): Jimmy Garoppolo leads the 49ers to a win

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (10) in the fourth quarter against the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High.

Monday Night Football will feature a matchup between Matthew Stafford and the Rams against Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers. It has been a slow start for the Rams, while the Niners have a new-look offense with Jimmy G at the helm.

We have a +919 Same Game Parlay for the contest, so let’s dive into our best same game parlay picks for this matchup!

San Francisco 49ers -1.5 (-110)

Part of the value in Same Game Parlays, of course, is that you can correlate plays or have a couple of contradictory plays to boost the odds. The latter strategy is the plan here, as taking Rams receiver Cooper Kupp to find the endzone goes against backing the 49ers against the spread and the under, when in reality I don’t believe they conflict all that much.

Let me explain and break down each of these plays one by one.

San Francisco 49ers -1.5 (-110) over Los Angeles Rams

San Francisco has covered the last five meetings with the Rams, since 2020, when including the playoffs. In the same exact spot last year on a Monday Night, the Niners blew out the Rams 31-10 as four point underdogs at home. They realistically should have beaten the Rams in the NFC Title game and was a dropped interception away from going to the Super Bowl. Of Matthew Stafford’s 21 games last year, his EPA performances against this San Francisco defense produced outcomes that ranked 9th, 13th and 20th out of those games. So only one game — Week 18 at home — was an above-average performance last year. His Monday Night Football game in San Francisco was his 2nd-worst game all season.

The Niners offense, mainly Jimmy G, did struggle against a really good Broncos defense on Sunday night but at home and against an overrated Rams defense, they should find more success. They will be without stud LT Trent Williams, but the Rams have generated the single lowest pressure rate in the NFL so far, and that is while blitzing at a top 10 rate. They can’t get any pressure and at home, having a backup at LT shouldn’t be a major cause for concern. In addition, the Rams secondary continues to be ravaged by injury. CBs Cobie Durant, David Long Jr. and starting Safety Jordan Fuller have not practiced as of late in the week and are all iffy for Monday. CB Derion Kendrick has also been limited due to a concussion. No matter who the Rams end up throwing out there on Monday, the Niners and Kyle Shanahan should find major holes

Under 42.5 (-115)

Both of these offenses have had serious issues moving the football and capitalizing in the red zone thus far in 2022. The 49ers offense was a disaster against the Broncos, only managing to score 10 points while tallying less than 300 yards of total offense in the process. In that same vein, the Rams passing attack has been limited over the first 3 weeks and the running game has been even worse. Los Angeles has failed to record 100 yards in each of its first 3 games, and that shouldn’t change against a stout 49ers front seven. The under is 4-1 in the Rams’ last 5 divisional matchups, while the 49ers are 5-0 to the under in their last 5 games following a loss. Look for both of those trends to continue in what should be a close, low-scoring contest.

Cooper Kupp anytime touchdown scorer (-115)

As expected, Cooper Kupp is off to a stellar start. Through the first 3 weeks, Kupp has 28 receptions for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns. He’s been the heart of the Rams offense this season which has started slowly as the loss of Odell Beckham Jr. is starting to show. Cam Akers and Allen Robinson have been underproducing thus far, which has forced more pressure onto the shoulders of Kupp. And their rushing attack is going through an identity crisis as Darrell Henderson was the lead back, but now it seems to be Akers. There are so many uncertainties for the Rams on offense, but one thing that we do know is Matthew Stafford will be looking for Kupp all night long. I expect a few red zone targets for Kupp and at least 1 touchdown for him on Monday Night.
