Hopefully we can make some money together! Oh, and I firmly believe Lebron James is not one of the two best basketball players of all time. Yeah, I said it. Another busy night in the NBA is coming our way with 22 teams hitting the hardwood, so why not try our luck with another same-game parlay? My focus is on the Boston Celtics vs Atlanta Hawks clash tipping off at 7:00 pm ET.

You can also check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Friday’s 11-game slate, but let’s get into the Celtics vs Hawks clash first!

Boston Celtics ML (+108)

Trae Young to score 30+ points (+168)

Jaylen Brown over 2.5 made threes (-148)

Parlay odds: +859

Boston Celtics ML (+108)

Even though the Hawks are on a 5-game win streak, they’ve been very inconsistent this season. Prior to this streak they lost 5 in a row and in head-to-head meetings the Celtics have the edge 11-4 in the last 15 games overall. In games played in Atlanta, Boston is 5-2 SU in the last 7, so the Hawks should have their hands full in this one. The Cs are coming off a historic 53-point blowout home win over the Sacramento Kings in which Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown had 36 and 30 points, despite sitting out the 4th quarter as the game was already decided. Atlanta won the meeting earlier this season, so the Celtics have an extra motive to get revenge in tonight’s game.

Trae Young to score 30+ points (+168)

Trae Young has been on a tear lately, averaging 25.4 points per game over his last 10 outings. He was just announced as 1 of 5 starters for the Eastern Conference in the All-Star game and over his last 5 games he has scored 30 or more points 3 times. He also has a 56-point game under his belt this month and in January his scoring average is up to 28.2 points per game. In his last 5 games against the Celtics he has scored 18, 33, 31, 40 and 34 points, so I really like his chances of going for 30 in tonight’s game. During this 5-game win streak the Hawks have gone over 110 points in all 5 games, they’ve had 2 games of 120+ points and once they even scored over 130. If tonight’s game is high-scoring, you can count on Young to carry the Hawks offensively.

Jaylen Brown over 2.5 made threes (-148)

I was debating between Tatum and Brown for this bet, but I settled for Brown as he has the better 3-point percentage at 36.4% compared to Tatum’s 33.1%. He also makes 2.9 shots per game from beyond the arc, which leads the Celtics as a group. In his last 10 games he is shooting a respectable 37% from 3-point range and scoring 23.6 points per game. If we compare home games to road games, his percentage on the road goes up from 34.3% to 40% which also works in our favor. Although he went 0-6 from downtown in the earlier meeting this season, in the game prior to that he drained 4 of 7 against them. I’m confident he can take advantage of the Hawks’ struggles when it comes to defending the perimeter. Atlanta allows an average of 35.6% shots made against them, so expect Brown to do some damage tonight.
