The first couple of months of the 2021 NFL season have been epic. Now we’ll be treated to another full slate this coming Sunday for Week 8. We have one of the best games of the day here as the Indianapolis Colts host the Tennessee Titans. What better way to make this pivotal AFC South rivalry game even more exciting than by betting a same game parlay? We also have thoughts on the side and total for every Week 8 matchup, of course, which you can view in our NFL picks tab.

But for now let’s dive into this same game parlay:

Indianapolis Colts -6.5 (+165)

Michael Pittman Jr over 60.5 receiving yards (-148)

Under 51 (-110)

Same Game Parlay odds: +866

We have a 3-leg same game parlay which pays out just north of 8/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down:

Indianapolis Colts -6.5 (+165)

To start this same game parlay we have the Colts on an alternative spread. Indy is better than most people realize, and they’ve won three of their last four games. Their only loss in that span was on the road in overtime against an elite Ravens team. Each of those wins came by double digits, which makes me feel better about this alt spread. Carson Wentz is playing like a top-tier quarterback, and he’s thrown only one interception all season.

Indy struggled early on, but only because of a brutal schedule and a lot of bad injury luck. Now they’re getting healthier, while Julio Jones just got ruled out for the Titans. The Colts almost beat the Titans in Tennessee back in Week 3, and that was when they were at rock bottom. Now they’re at home and are playing like a completely different team.

Michael Pittman Jr. over 60.5 receiving yards (-148)

This correlates nicely with the first leg of our same game parlay. If the Colts win and cover -6.5, it’s going to be because Wentz and Pittman keep their chemistry going. I think MPJ is going to be the league’s next star receiver, and he’s looked like it recently. Pittman managed to put up 105 yards last week, and that was despite the game being played in torrential rain with tons of wind. Now he’s getting to face a Titans secondary that is terrible and really banged up. The USC product should be in for another big day.

Under 51 (-110)

To wrap up this same game parlay and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the under. If the Colts are covering -6.5, it’s likely to be because their defense came up big. I could see Tennessee really struggling on offense. They’ll be playing without Jones, which greatly limits the passing game. And the Colts have one of the best run defenses in the league, so don’t expect Derrick Henry to be running wild. All-Pro DeForest Buckner can singlehandedly wreck opposing teams’ rushing attacks. The Colts can get out to a lead, and then spend the second half running the ball a lot with Jonathan Taylor and chewing clock.
