One of the biggest games in the AFC South this season will take place on Sunday when the Tennessee Titans take on the Indianapolis Colts. Both teams have gotten off to shaky starts, with the Titans holding a 1-2 record while the Colts are 1-1-1 through 3 games. Which team will pick up its second win?

NFL Week 4 Tennessee Titans vs Indianapolis Colts prediction

The biggest question for both of these teams is if one can establish consistency on offense. The Titans passing game is struggling mightily while the Colts are still looking to find their form on offense. Even in a win last week, Indianapolis’ offense still needs to improve, particularly in the passing game. Will Matt Ryan and company prevail in Week 4, or will the Titans pick up a massive victory on the road? Let’s get into it.

Tennessee Titans vs Indianapolis Colts expert picks

We’ve got 3 standout NFL picks for this week’s clash between the Titans and Colts.

Titans vs Colts point spread pick: Titans +3.5 (-110)

Is the AFC South the worst division in football? It has certainly looked that way so far, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find some wagering opportunities as the Indianapolis Colts host the Tennessee Titans. The Matt Ryan era hasn’t got off to a great start in Indianapolis, and the Colts are very fortunate to be sitting at 1-1-1 through 3 weeks. It took a massive Texans collapse in Week 1 for the Colts to pull off a tie as a huge favorite, and last week they only narrowly scraped by the Chiefs because of a bunch of Kansas City mental miscues. I’m certainly not too high on this Titans team, but I don’t think the Colts deserve to be this large of a favorite against just about anybody right now.

Things haven’t been quite as bad for Tennessee as you might think. The Titans blew it late against the Giants in Week 1, but they led that game virtually the entire way. Then in Week 2 you can’t really blame them for losing on the road in primetime against an elite Bills team. Last week against the Raiders they once again controlled the game, leading from beginning to end. It was always going to take Ryan Tannehill a little bit of time to adjust to his new weapons, and he’s starting to develop some chemistry with Robert Woods. The Colts are banged up, and their vaunted offensive line isn’t what it used to be. Grab the points with the ‘dog.

Titans vs Colts Over/Under totals pick: Under 43 (-110)

The under makes some sense for this division rivalry matchup which both teams are desperate to win. Tennessee wants to keep things on the ground with Derrick Henry, and they’re averaging only 17 points per game. Believe it or not that’s actually significantly better than the Colts, who are averaging fewer than 14 per game and are yet to top 20.

Matt Ryan doesn’t look like he’s got much left in the tank physically, and the Colts’ ground game led by Jonathan Taylor hasn’t been nearly as dynamic as it has been in the past. In Indy’s most recent division game, they got blanked by the Jaguars. Beyond Michael Pittman Jr., the receiving talent in this game leaves a lot to be desired. The Colts don’t have much beyond Pittman, and the Titans got rid of both AJ Brown and Julio Jones this offseason. This one could get ugly.
