Just 4 teams remain in the race to be crowned this season’s Super Bowl champion as we enter Championship Sunday. The 49ers will battle their NFC-West rival Rams in the NFC Championship game, but here we’re focusing on the AFC Championship battle between the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bengals had the first pick of the draft just 2 years ago, and now this young and hungry side is one win away from punching a ticket to Super Bowl LVI. Standing in their way is a Chiefs team that has dominated the AFC for the past few years and is looking for its 3rd straight Super Bowl appearance.

In order to raise the stakes even more in this “youth vs experience” matchup, I’ve put together a 2-leg same game parlay that pays a tidy +973 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook.

I’ve been on a serious roll with my SGPs lately, having cashed a +825 Washington vs Giants same game parlay in Week 18 before winning my Raiders vs Bengals SGP at +1336 odds. Let’s see if I can make it 3 wins out of 4!

Joe Burrow 325+ passing yards (+174)

Patrick Mahomes 350+ passing yards (+300)

Parlay odds: +973

For this same game parlay, I’m keeping things nice and simple. Ultimately, I’m predicting a shootout between two of the league’s best quarterbacks, and they’ve more than lived up to that hype in their most recent games. Now I can get nearly 10/1 odds on them both reaching a reasonable passing yards total? Sign me up.

Joe Burrow 325+ passing yards (+174)

The weather for Sunday’s game in Kansas City is forecast to be around 50F and mostly sunny with virtually no wind. In other words, we’re looking likely to get perfect quarterback weather for two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks. The total for this game is set at 54.5 points, implying that we’re set to have a shootout between these offenses. All signs point toward Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes lighting it up, I’m expecting another big day from each of them.

Starting with Burrow, despite being in just his 2nd professional season, he is playing with all the confidence in the world right now. He’s topped 325 passing yards in 3 of his past 4 games, and thrown 10 touchdown passes in that period. One of those games includes a Week 17 matchup against the Chiefs, in which he threw for 446 yards. Things will be different now that we’re at Arrowhead and he’s expected to be under a lot more pressure, but Burrow has consistently proved that he can rise to the occasion.

The Bengals were down 14 points in that previous game against the Chiefs in a situation where they needed to keep winning to secure the AFC North, and Burrow got the job done. Things were looking shaky against the Titans, but he kept his cool and pulled it out of the bag. This kid is special and with the likes of Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and CJ Uzomah stepping up recently, I’m expecting another great performance.

Patrick Mahomes 350+ passing yards (+300)

Patrick Mahomes doesn’t need much of an introduction, and getting +300 on him to top 350 passing yards also looks great value. The Texas Tech product is coming off one of the most clutch games of his career, in which he got the Chiefs in scoring position with just 13 seconds on the clock to allow KC to beat the Bills in one of the greatest games in NFL history. He put up 378 passing yards in that game, and the week before he had 404 against the Steelers.

Mahomes always seems to move up a gear in the playoffs, and this matchup against the Bengals should be no different. He managed only 259 yards in their Week 17 game, but knowing how good this Cincy offense is I’m expecting Mahomes to be aggressive. It’s also worth noting that he’ll have a fully healthy Travis Kelce this time, and guarding tight ends is definitely a weak point in this Bengals defense.

Cincinnati allowed the 7th-most passing yards during the regular season and the 3rd-most completed passes. This defense does have holes in it and Mahomes is too good to not take advantage of that. At nearly 10/1, an SGP on Burrow and Mahomes having a big day is tremendous value. I’m also going to be playing Burrow and Mahomes 350+ yards at +1408 odds, and throwing a Hail Mary on Burrow and Mahomes 400+ yards at +7814.
